I came through Anna university counselling. Initially, I was alloted st. joseph college of engineering. Later I applied for upward movement in TNEA. As a result, I was allotted bSVCE. OBC reservation. The counselling process was good and well conducted. The process was smooth and instructions were given clearly. One day prior I was contacted and the procedure was explained.

I chose MECHANICAL ENGINEERING since I like to know more about the machine and to study various mechanisms involved in automobiles. The faculty student ratio is quite impressive, it is about 1: 25. Every faculty holds master's degrees and most have done a doctorate in the specialised field and Few have done a master's in iits. 3 internal exams will be conducted and assignment is also given.

Every student has to complete a period of 1 month internship in any industry. The college provides intern to students by merging with the company like TVs and any other internships if available will be intimated to the students. Every student has to make a mini project and a major project in the 3rd and 4th year. This helps the students to apply the subject knowledge to practical applications.

The placement starts from the end of the 6th sem. Core company like royal Enfield, Caterpillar, hunday etc visit the campus and IT companies like Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, PayPal etc visit the campus. The average salary package ranges from about 5 to 8 lakhs per annum. The total placement percentage is about 85 to 95 percentage. I have decided to write competitive exams like gate and ct.

Initially, the fee was about 1, 42000 but later it was raised to about 1,75000. That includes a hostel and a mess. I have not received any scholarship. The tuition fees are about 800000 and hostel fees are about 95000.

The fest is most likely conducted in the year May and June. In the main library, there are about 2 lakh books which include all the departments. In addition to that, there is a department library in each department. The sports day is conducted each and every year. All types of sports are facilitated for the students that include swimming and also gym facilities also provided. There are more than 10 clubs that include NSS, Ncc, Yrc, QMC 3tc.

In 1st years the toom is shared among the persons. The room is provided with 2 fans and a table and cupboard for each student. From 2nd year 2 students per room. The meals are unlimited and the menu is changed for every 6 months, plates and tumblers are provided. The registration for the hostel is carried out along with the admissions process. Near the college, there is an apartment that is the only nearby residence.
