I applied through the tnea admission portal(DOTE). And received a call letter from tnea (anna university). Admission criteria are based on purely merit anywhere between 90 - 100 percent is easily admitted for regular quota and also there is a management quota for unfortunate aspirers
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course out of interest. The faculty to student ratio is somewhere between 1:30. the faculties are qualified to have a minimum PhD and doctorates and do have masters. The term exams are once per semester and are not very hard exams.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by various placement visiting companies, the tasks provided are either content writing or simple industry tours. the stipends according to our department are mostly nil and sometimes provided with around 10000 per month.
Placement Experience
students are eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. depending on the department's many companies visit with majorly visited being it companies for chemical engineering companies like Technip, spic, Petrofac visit the college for placements. The highest CTC is around 45 LPA. the percentage of students who are getting placed is around 90 percent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees are around 70000 to 1,00000 depending on whether you apply through merit to management. there are transportation fees which cost around 50000 yearly and hostel facilities can be availed at a cost of around 1 lakh per year.
Campus Life
according to fests, there are a number of symposiums organised by every department yearly and more no, conferences the campus is provided with a central library which was built later with huge stocks of updated books. each classroom is provided with smart projector facilities which are also well lit and aerated. The college has also huge sports and extracurricular activities such as NCC and many sports clubs. majority of clubs are hugely run by students forum such as FORESE, etc.
