Remarks
The College campus is really big and hygienic.Teaching standards are good, teachers and professors are always there for you. Lack of instruments in Labs. I preferred BBDEC because there teaching standards are good. I got to know about this College from Shiksha.com
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum of the course is decided by the A.K.T.U, It consists of various interesting subjects. Well, I chose this course because the faculty of Mechanical Engineering is good in BBDEC while Faculty: Students ratio is good, there is 1 faculty per 6-7 students. Some teachers are really experienced and the notes they provide during the lectures are ready for competitive level too. You'll have 2 internal examinations which will include theory and practicals. The standard of internal examinations is kinda intermediate level.
Internships Opportunities
No there are no internship offered by the side of College, you have to find that by yourself. But yes there will be Industrial tours,I had a Industrial tour to Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology, which was really good.Apart from that I had training in Ashok Leyland which was arranged by myself.
Placement Experience
Placement scenes in BBD is quite simple, you'll be registered to the Training and Placement portal in your 6th semester. Then you have to give interviews and exams in various companies. You'll receive updates regarding the campus drives regularly. The highest package offered was 7 lpa to the CS student. Placements in Mechanical Engineering is quite unsatisfactory. You'll also have training sessionswhich starts from your 3 rd year on soft skills ,Aptitude reasoning, mathematics e.t.c(It Will ne paid and mandatory)
Fee Structure And Facilities
There were no fee hike during my graduation time, The cost of studying in BBDEC is really affordable, you can take College hostel (which are not so good not so bad) apart from that just opposite to the campus there are tons of hostels with cheap rates and good food. BBD group provides internal scholarships to the meritorious and the students who have participated in Extra curriculars.
Campus Life
BBDEC has a vast community named as "SANKALP-Lead the Change", You have to give PI for the community, where there are different departments like Singing Team, Dance Team, Drama Team, Fine Arts Team. This community thing will definitely enhance you and your skills. There is also a Techincal Community too named as "Enigma" where you'll learn various technical things toos like Robotics, Car designing etc. There will be a lot of fests, the major fest is "UTKARSH" in which various College participate and compete. There will be a D.J night at the last day of te fest.
Admission
I gave the state entrance exam for taking admission in BBDEC, The examination UPSEEE is conducted by the state technical university i.e Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University (A.K.T.U). The entrance exam will have 120 questions (i.e MATHS, CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS) without any minus marking. Exam pattern is easy, you just have to practice sone MCQs and stick to the NCERTs.
