I love Presidency

Presidency College is one of the oldest colleges of India, which was established by British India in 1854. This is a government college so the fee structure is very cheap and easily affordable. It also comes under one of the top colleges in India, which is why I chose to study here especially due to the easily affordable fee structure to study this course. The admission is totally based on merit basis followed by an interview by the principal. Quota are also available for ST,SC and specially abled persons. The application process takes place offline and It costs 5rs. My 10+2 mark sheets were required for the admission.

We have tests every thursday which is based on the syllabus covered for that week. We have weekly tests and pe finals which help us prepared well for the and finals. In the Pre-final,the entire syllabus exam is conducted. It acts as a replica of the university exam. Our faculty also plays a very important part. We are offered notes and other educational assistance by them.

The college does provide placements to its students. Firstly the placement team of presidency send the recruiters a mail with the details of the final placement list. The recruiters then releases a Job notification form for the job openings available for the tentative candidates after which the interview process takes place. The college has a lit of tie ups of companies such as SAP, metricstream, TESCO and many more.

SInce it is a government college, the fee structure is very cheap. The entire cost to study is just about four thousand rupees. The tuition fees are to be paid on a yearly basis. There are no fees hike too.

Once i got enrolled myself in this college, it was totally a full on experience starting from day one. The college encourages the students to take part in annual college sports and other games giving a chance to the represent the college in different levels. We also have photography competition, Fresher's welcome and teacher's day are celebrated as well.
