Entrance Preview

I took MH-CET entrance exam. I always had a dream of becoming a doctor. So i never thought of another option. But for other people who don't get enough marks to be eligible for mbbs colleges there are other options like B.D.S, Physiotherapy, Audio and speech therapy and occupational therapy and B.Pharm.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very vast but interesting enough to keep you busy. There is not much scope for research. But you get to deal with lot of patients and come across even rare diseases.

Internships Opportunities

There is 1 year internship at the end of the course.The stipend is 6000rs. You get to improve your skills and learn patient management. A lot of time is given to learn emergency management.

Placement Experience

All Government College MBBS pass out have a government job of Medical Officer with a pay of 50,000rs per month.

College Events

There are various events celebrated in college. Swastik - Intercollegiate medical symposium and various medical subject quiz. Aarambh- Intercollegiate cultural fest, Shravansari - Intracollegiate cultural fest, Lakshya - Intracollege sports event, Mahayudh - Intercollegiate sports event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fees is semester wise. The current fee per semester is 32,500. Hostel fees is 2000rs per semester.

Tata scholarship and narottam scholarship are available for meritorious students.

Campus Life

The campus is small with a total area of 20 acres. The gender ratio is a bit more on girls side with approximate ratio of 55:45. There is no discretion on basis of caste,religion and race.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room are very good. Every room is shared by 2 students and for final year students single room per student is given. The hostel has a ground along with it for various sports and gym attached for fitness.

Exam Structure

The exam structure consists of theory and practical with a distribution of 60:40. The theory exams are conducted by MUHS for all government colleges. The practical exam is conducted in college itself by two internal examiner and two external examiner selected by MUHS university.

Faculty

The faculty of this college is one of the highest level. Being the second-ranked medical college in the state of Maharashtra it has very good teachers who have very good surgical skills and experience.
