College review

I actually applied for 3 colleges and among those, I find IHM JAIPUR the best to give a good theoretical and practical experience. The admission process was very smooth. The counselling session was very organized and 3rd-year students were also there to help us out.

The faculty-student ratio will be 1:50. The faculty is very well qualified for the job they are doing. F& B faculty is the best. Exams: See it all depends on how well you study. Basically, self-study is the key.

You work as a trainee in your 2nd year of a degree in a 5-star or 4-star hotel to gain the idea of 4 core departments. This helps a lot at the time of placements. My College tries to bring reputed hotels for internship. Stipend lies between Rs 1000-3000 a month.

I have not been placed yet as this is my 2nd year but as I have said before the placement policy is good as far as my college is concerned. The faculty is very helpful and guides you at every step. Good hotel and retail chains come for placements and almost every student get placed.

It is an expensive course and studying in a government college really helps. You get placed either in a hotel chain or in a retail chain with an adequate salary. IHM Jaipur has one of the best placement policy.

Umang happens every year in the month of Feb or March. That 1 week period is like heaven for students. Competitive games are played among 4 houses. Unfortunately, I have not experienced that because of Covid.

Hostel services are way too good. 24 hours electricity and water supply with a helpful and strict warden. Actually one cannot find such an economical option for accommodation in the area in which the college is situated.
