Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well planned and implemented. The curriculum focusses on developing management skills which in turn would enhance the employability skills of the students. We also have to give exams and submit projects.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities provided by our college are up to the mark. Several big hotels and restaurant chains come to our college to hire students on the basis of their merit and skills. Top recruiters include IHG, cinepolis, cafe coffee day among others. The highest salary which is offered is around 25,000 a month. The lowest salary offered is around 7000 a month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee charges are nominal. The duration of the diploma course is around 18 months. The fee is charged for the entire duration. The fee for the course is around 45,000 rupees which is not a big amount.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of our college is quite good. It has all the basic modern amenities. There are labs where students perform practicals and learn. There are also separate suites where housekeeping lessons are given. There is a front desk which replicates the hotel reception desk. There we learn how to work at the reception. Also, there are facilities like library, medical room and also a large student dining hall where 360 students can sit and ear together at one time.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is provided by the college. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. Boys are allocated the hostel room on the basis of their merit. There is no such criterion for girls. The hostel mess provides a variety of meals to the students. There is a lounge in both the hostels with facilities for recreation like reading, indoor sports etc.
Admission
The admission is procedure is transparent and user friendly. The admissions are merit-based. The students are admitted on the basis of their marks in class 12. The application procedure is through online mode.
Faculty
The college faculty is amazing. Many of them have worked for several years in the hotel management field. They are also supportive and provide guidance to us from time to time. They teach us in unique and different ways. Their methods of teaching are ideal.
