Remarks

I applied for Rungta college of engineering and technology through Chhatisgarh Pre- Engineering test(CGPET). I chose the Rungta group of institutions because of the good competitive and coding environment for computer science and engineering students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers here are qualified and focus more on learning. The curriculum is yes updated and prepare us for the future because we are being taught what is actually followed in real life. Even if certain things are not updated then the faculty makes sure to update us about the same.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 76100 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college has a placement cell and that is very good. Most of the students of this college get placed and are provided with internships also and get a good salary package offered by the company. Teachers help a lot in developing a personality for placements and internships.

Placement Experience

The quality of placement is very good. Around 90% of students are placed every year. The average salary provided would be around Rs.4.5 lac which is also a good package as a fresher. The range of the package varies. The support by the administration is very good.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of RCET is Rs. 76100 per year for engineering and there will be eight instalments to be paid through online mode or through DD. The accounts department is very cooperative and they will be ready to help the candidates at any time. The scholarships are also given to candidates which are based on certain eligibility. The R.C.E.T department is very cooperative when it comes to job assistance and career guidance.

Campus Life

It is the best campus. It organises different sports events every year, Quiz competitions, Annual fest VYOM, webinars for faculties as well as for students. The College campus is fun to be in and has properly ventilated classrooms and is full of greenery and fresh air. Has maximum plants and trees and open area. The location is all good and fine

Likes

Female ratio is more as compared to male because of this course majorly female ppt more for this course.
Faculty members are friendly enough to have better interaction related to study .
The campus is very safe clean and have facilities like ground ,canteen and auditorium.

Dislikes

Insufficient laboratory apparatus and equipments .
Partiality among students based on the interaction with professors.
Timing of classes sometimes practical classes extend beyond class period.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like this course and the advancement it's doing in present life . This course is quite demanding in present generation. The curriculum includes practical related to modern technology using living organisms for for human welfare for present and future generations. There are also seminars and webinars quite often . However the equipments are quite limited as the class strength is quite large due to which not all students get access to perform practical. Semester exam basically have 2 internals having a gap of two months each and then the final exam.the difficulty of exam is from easy to moderate.

They have sports facilities and also have ideal lab
Aicte grading is A+ they have also many clubs
The review of college in iic regional is 4 star

Dislikes

75 percent attendance mandatory for class test 1 amf class test 2also
College is far away from the city raipur and also away frome city facilities
They are very strict in also the classnotes.. And in ct 60 marks is compulsory

Placement Experience:

Our college placement is good average placement is 6 to 7 lpa and the placement start 7 semester amd the internship starts with 5 semester Tca wipeo infosys Samsung's just play mahindra ibm and many more I will go for masters after degree

There is a café named "Pai chai" which is very amazing and lots of people hangout there for its great Cup of tea.
there are so many good staff and teachers for us to teach. most of them graduated from NITs/IITs and even from IIMs.

Dislikes

There is too less hostels for us. especially for those who are from other states.
Teachers give too much assignment work. very hard to deal with.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college pretty good for the higher branch like Cse , Ece , IT but for lower branches like ours is very low Only 5-10 students got placed last year from biotech . Whereas the placement percentage of Cse is around 90% . The highest package offered was 56 LPA , that is told us in Induction Program.

The faculty, environment and support staff is quite good
Library,canteen and huge campus and quite friendly environment
Admission process is quite simple and easy

Course Curriculum Overview:

The relevancy is not at par to be fair. There are many things which are theoretical but are not applicable in real life which makes our course a little out of date in comparison to real life practices.

IIIT Naya Raipur has best campus!!

Likes

Since NTPC holds a stake in our college our placements are guaranteed.
Chattisgarh Government has provided a lot of scholarship for students of our college and mostly to girls to encourage girl child education.
Many innovations and researches are promoted as our college believes in building IT leaders.

Dislikes

Hostels are not cleaned daily and sometimes we are left to do it on our own.

Placement Experience:

At IIIT Naya Raipur from 2022 where 74 out of 180 students were placed in 2025 the number increased to 127. So placements are surging and so are the numbers are also increasing heavily as well. 10 lakhs it is after 2025 and by next year I wish it to be 15 or more.

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

Likes

Overall infrastructure is good and clean. There are different outlets in the canteen area, one can get different foods. Plus it also has an cafe, in case you need a cup of coffee!
Facilities are nice and helpful with few exceptions.
Sport infrastructure is good, but needs maintenance

Dislikes

I don't really like the campus life here, it's boring, nothing interesting happens here.
Some faculties are super mean, They scold you for small things.
I don't like the fact that fees doesn't decrease, they should atleast decrease each year if not semester wise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this curriculum is because I've a keen interest in computer programming. The exams aren't really hard if you know the basics and the curriculum. The Faculties are well educated but low-key outdated. Speaking of curriculum, I feel like the curriculum is super outdated and needs to be changed.

Life at NIT Raipur

Likes

Campus life is really good with great environment.
Many events which help students learn group working skills and other managing skills.
Faculty is friendly and perfectly trained.

Dislikes

Hostel is not alloted to all the students
The frequency of is a bit high.Preparation time is not enough for exams.

Placement Experience:

Students from 6th semester are eligible for placements.Many companies like google , microsoft,hero , virtusa , and more.Highest package for this year is 62 lakh per annum and average package is 13 lakh per annum.The placement percentage for overall branches is 74%.I will try for a placement in campus placements from my 6th semester.

Likes

Campus life: It is very good and homely.
Good faculty and nice teaching 👍🏻 👌 👏
Good coure like CSE with good updated courses.

Dislikes

Less girls sudents . Less girls to boys ratio.
Not good for south students. Cooks according to north students.
No washing machines available for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took cse because it is ever green and demanding. Faculty student ratio is very good here. Every teacher here is done with Phd .many in IITs and some in NITs . Their teaching is good. It is very easy to pass exams here. We can Stuy a night before the exam and get descent score.

Review of the biggest college of central India RCET

Rungta College of engineering and technology review

I can apply to Galgotia University in Greater Noida and Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, Bhilai are confirmed admission forms. I chose this college because other colleges charge huge amount of money, and this college is affordable and has lower fees than other colleges.
