Remarks

I have applied in various entrance tests like JEE and BITS, but I chose to go with Amity University because of the course they provided. I wanted a Nanotechnology course for my bachelors which wasn't provided by any IIT or BITS. I didn't avail any quota for admission. The admission criteria were to qualify in AMITYJEE whose score wasn't announced but only your qualification was told, to apply for AMITYJEE a student must have 70% in his 12th standard and the maximum gap between application for AMITYJEE and completion of 12th must be 1 year, for example, if you completed your 12th in 2020 the maximum for application can extend only up to 2021. After qualification into AMITYJEE, a councling session was held before final application into the course for any further queries to be sorted of any student or parents before the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course I chose for my bachelors was bachelors of technology in Nanotechnology. I chose this course because of the developing scope of Nanotechnology in the future, as it will lead the major world towards the breakthrough in the conventionally available technology at the moment. There were around 120 students in my department when I enrolled in the course and the total faculties available for teaching were around 25, so the ratio was around 1:5. Almost all the faculties were PHd in their field of work. The review test for grading the progress was done once in 30 days in the form of tests and assignments, whereas the end semester exams were held in 5 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

The starting fees was 13800 for the first semester which included 20000 of security. The fees were paid every semester and the increment of 5000 was done every year and wheres 10000 was done for the final year. Various scholarship programs were given by the university which included scholarship based on merit that was reserved for the topper of the batch every year, next was the sports scholarship for the student who has performed well in the field of sports and contributed in the field of sports.

Campus Life

3.5

The annual fest used to happen once every in the month of March-April, it is a 3 days fest. This included all the events like tech, sports and fun activities, different departments present their field of work and fun games. University had a central library for all the departments on the campus, it had a variety of books be it prescribed in the course or other reference books. Annual sports function used to happen in August and September where all the departments compete with each other in different sports.

The placement on campus of this college is average, as not so many good companies visit here but the faculties and seniors helps students so much that they become more bright to get a good off campus placement and the record says it.

Placements at MMMUT are average, with limited core ECE roles. Many students prepare for GATE, CAT, or off-campus IT jobs. I plan to focus on skill development, internships, and higher studies to improve employability after graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I picked this cousre because the syllabus is updated and helps with jobs. Itt prepares us well for placements but could use more practical labs.Exams are frequent and moderately hard, so you have to study regularly to score well. The student-faculty ratio is about 1:60. Senior teachers are very helpful and know thier subjects well. Exams are held frequently and are moderately difficult

Placement Experience:

The placements right now are not that good as there is a large competition in IT sector and hence the placement is not that good.... Not even 25% of final yr students get placed and those placed , are placed at very average LPA... about 4.5-5 LPA . Hardly 2 or 3 students get package of 20+LPA . If not placed on campus then one can go for GATE exam and can sit for master's degree and then will get a better placement otherwise off campus placements. After 4th or 5 th semester students can sit for the campus placements. Companis like TCS, ACCENTURE, HCL, TATA, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT , etc visits but the number of offers made are very less about 15%-20% of total students sitting for campus placements. Highest package are about 25-30LPA average package is 5 LPA percentage of students getting placed are about 20-25% through campus my plan is to get the on campus placement... if somehoe I fail, the off campus placements...
