As the college is autonomous but it is under but so the addmission process is going under ojee. by ojee councelling service, you can choose the college and apply due to covid this year the whole process is online 1st you have to provide the entrance examination details then councelling process will go on after that when you get the seat in college you have to report in the college as per guidelines and take admission.

I choose the computer science and engineering course as i want to become a software engineer so i choose this course. There are lots of teachers but one section consists of 40 students and there are minimum 10 faculties for each subject the minimum qualification of faculty are m.tech with minimum 3 years of experience but there are many faculties who have completed their PhD. there are many exams in each semester there are quiz test, surprise test,midterm examination, end term examination and assignments are there and if you study well these exams are good for you otherwise it will difficult to pass

There are many companies and industries are providing internships as well as the entrepreneurship ideas are giving by companies and higher authorities of the companies and the project like a wind farm, racing car, robot, supercomputer, and may more projects are been made by students as in the college website is mentioned and many more projects are made by the students of the college for govt. Also.

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement and there are companies like Infosys, Wipro, lnt, amazon, byju's, cisco and more than 200 companies are coming to colleges every year and from btech, more than 300 students out of 500 are getting a placement and the Highest package is 25 lakh per annum and average package is 6 lakh per annum.60% of students getting placement every year and my plan is for higher studies after getting a degree

There is an average fee is there which you can afford and there are many scholarships is given from state government as well as from college for meritorious and poor students and also financial assistance is provided by the college and there are many companies coming to colleges for placement and also internship is provided and stipend also.

In a year there are 2 fest is organizing in college one is waves which is the annual fest and another is sankalp which is the techfest and there are different libraries for different branches and lots of books are available there all kinds of book are available with foreign author and Indian other too and all types of sports and activities are held in college for both boys and girls there are 18 clubs in college and sports like cricket, football, basketball and all re there and the college website is www.nist.edu
