Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very good and way far better than other universities as I compared with my friends. The learning is not only the bookish knowledge, you get hands-on experience, you write your own codes run them improve them with the help of teachers. There is a place known as explore hub which is damn well built for the ones who want to work on startups and the ones who want to write codes and codes. There are three mid-term tests out of which you have to attempt at least 2 at the gap of 3-4 weeks and the syllabus is well divided among them and then the final end-term exam. There are many events going on around the college so the learning is not only limited to the classes.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college provides an internship facility. Students who are placed by a company go on training. As i first-year student i don't know much more about it so I can't tell you more. But i can say that our university is providing many opportunities to experience the training program and our university always provides tppest company for training.
Placement Experience
As I am a first-year student so I don't have much idea about that but I listened from students that the maximum package is 60-70 lakh per annum every year. Even the placement is decent in Chitkara University. They have 100% placement records. The average package goes around 6-8 lacs with the highest every year is around 20 lacs PA. Students sit for placement exams from the 3rd year (5th semester) onwards. You can get a good placement, if you have knowledge about the subjects and if you maintain a good CGPA.e average package is 6-7 per year which is not that bad.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is 70k per sem and then comes if you are a day scholar or hosteller since I am a day scholar so I opted for the bus facility which is 20k per sem. If you take a hostel it costs 52k per sem including everything meals laundry etc but there are only double shared or triple shared rooms. No there are no other hidden expenses Loan/ Scholarship Provisions: No there aren't any scholarships. It's just that students with good jee scored are asked first in counseling which course they want to opt so the ones with a lower score may or may not get their interesting course
Campus Life
The gender ratio as I can see is 1:1. There is no discrimination and the good thing is there is 0 ragging in the college. The environment is good. About the competitions, yes there are frequent sports, debates, photography competitions going on in the college which are managed by different clubs. There are clubs for each thing such as toastmasters, pic it, Cu archs the sports one, and then technical ones. There are workshops organized on technical things and then for each festival there are events organized.
