Remarks

As I am a diploma student I had applied for many colleges but intake for every college at the time of our admission was only 6. So I had no choice but to take admission to this college only. I didn't take any Quota for admission. The admission result was pure on the basis of my percentage through the cap round. I had cleared my diploma so on the basis of my college candidates clearing Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% marks can apply. Age is not considered as any criteria in my college as far as one has a percentile worth for college. The admission process was quite a headache as we had to keep an eye on every step from filling the form online till the result accoutrement day. Counselling was also good they had provided us with the pcs for form filling and also there was a professor available to guide us on how to fill the form so that student don't make any mistakes.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

landing into this course of Information technology was not one of my rashed decisions. In fact, I was clear about taking this field and choosing IT as a profession since I was in 9th grade and it now proves to be an advantage because as of the current scenario everything across the globe is getting digitalized rapidly and the need for this field are increasing with each day. The faculties involved in teaching this course are well experienced with expertise in their subjects. They are very helpful, kind, and ready to solve your queries whenever needed. The faculties monitor and mentor students and are very concern about the growth of students. They put in all the efforts to their best and make the subjects interesting even the deadliest one. They show us the practical use of the subjects and focuses more on the practicality of the subject. The term exams are held at an interval of 4 months followed by 2 unit tests in between with an interval of 1 month.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 7 semesters onwards the companies start visiting the college for recruitment drives and students having 6.77 CGPI or above and securing an average of 60% in their SSC and HSC are eligible for the drives of the companies. Many established and reputed companies across the globe like LTI, TCS, Infosys, Teradata, Endurance International, and many more visit the campus every year. About an average of 80% of students are offered jobs through campus placements with an average decent salary package of 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA and even more than that depending on the companies. The profiles include any role that is well suited for a fresher. My plans after getting the degree are to be hired through campus placement by a reputed firm and put my skills into work for the betterment of my organization.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a 4-year degree course and the yearly fee for this course is approximately 120000 and goes even up to 140000 depending on the college in which the student gets admitted. There are many government scholarships like minority scholarships, EBC, and even TFWS (tuition fee waiver scheme) which can be availed by the students whose information is provided by the college at the start of the academic year. Students can also try to avail themselves of some private scholarships in order to afford the fees for the course. The campus placements in this field are greater in number. Many established and reputed MNC's like LTI, TCS, Infosys, Teradata, Endurance International visits our campus for recruitment drives, and hire students on an average decent salary package of 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA or even more. Some off-campus recruitment drives are also conducted whose information is given by training and placement cell to the student to increase the employment opportunity.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life in this college is quite a fine one. Discipline is a factor that is to be followed strictly when one is on campus. The classrooms and the labs are spacious to accommodate a strength of 80 to 90 students and are well equipped. There are seven departments offered by the degree course and each department is having its own student committee and there is one college committee that includes students from all the departments. There one annual fest which is held in the month of March and it includes 2 parts. The first part is a sports fest where different sport competitions are held and the second part is a cultural fest and includes fun events. The pre-fest days like traditional days, gang day is also celebrated. Apart from this even days like independence day, teachers day, engineers day is also celebrated by the different committees by organizing technical events, fun events, etc.
