BBA Hons at LPU

As I was applying during this Covid Pandemic, my family didn't support me to join colleges in Banglore. Even I didn't know what to do because I've been appearing for GDs and PIs for a very long time and was tired. Soon I learned about Lovely Professional University and got to know that they don't have any selection process for a BBA candidate. Therefore, I applied for this college in July 2020. The eligibility criteria is also very normal- You just need to have minimum 70% marks in both of your board examinations, and you are in. The process includes- 1) Fill the application form, 2) Upload the documents and 3) Pay the a mandatory amount to confirm the seat. The amount paid during the process is later on deducted from your semester fees.

I aspire to become an analyst and so I pursued a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Honors. LPU had different schools inside the campus for different branches. So mine is Mittal School of Business (Management Branch). The faculty of Mittal School are great people with lots of industrial exposures and experiences. Most of them hold a PHD degree in their respective specialized field. Students are very encouraged by their instructors. Our mentors are very hardworking and selfless people. They are available to us 24x7. Through LPU's private messenger app- LPU Live, we can easily get in touch with the professors and clear our doubts or seek guidance in any aspect of life. The teaching methods by our faculty is excellent. The examinations are divided into two terms- Midterm and Endterm- every semester. The level of examinations are from moderate to difficult.

Lovely Professional University encourages skill enhancements. They have many summer training projects on campus for every student. They also got opportunities of Part-time paid jobs available to the students. Since the very first day, they work on the skill enhancement. The students are taken to many industrial drives to expose them to the practical enviroment. We also got CDP Projects for which the students are supposed to work under the NGO for a month and prepare the project. By the end of the second year, the BBA students are made to join corporate organizations as interns for the duration of 1 whole year. All these experiences are later on showcased in front of the recruiters.

Lovely Professional University's campus placements are unbeatable. Every year 100% of students get placed from the campus. 1000+ offers are made to the vertos. LPU with its great tie-ups with big organizations successfully achieves a great placement record. In BBA Hons, 99% of students got placed with a good package. The highest package bagged is 15LPA and minimum goes down to 6LPA. Big corporates like- TATA, Uniliver, Cognizant, Bosch, etc visit LPU for recruitment.

Lovely Professional University has different kinds of scholarship schemes to offer. They believe that every student deserves the scholarship and have framed the scholarships in such a way that maximum can get this advantage. The schemes are in the following fields of interest- Sports, Cultural and Social, NCC, Bravery etc. If one doesn't have any merit then they can appear for LPUNEST Examination. It s a scholarship exam conducted by LPU to provide its students with some financial assistance. I was able to get a scholarship on my board exam results and it has helped to save a good amount of money which I am using to build some additional skills in me. So thanks LPU for these helpful initiatives.

Fests held at LPU is one of their kind. The whole of Punjab is well-known for the big fests held at LPU. Till now all the big celebrities from different industries have visited the campus. Many big song video recordings have been done inside the campus. The students are exposed to many great events and also get the chance to perform with top celebrities. Events like- Cokestudio, Youthvibes, Freshermen, etc are conducted. The LPU campus is diverse in itself. Students from more than 25+ countries come to study in LPU. The LPU classes are fully air-conditioned and the labs are well equipped. There are many student running organizations in LPU to boost the student's thoughts and give them enormous exposure. Stadiums, Unihospital, Unimall, etc are some of the major highlights inside LPU.
