EE review IIT Bhubaneswar

I have only applied for IITS, mainly 2nd gen having a decent branch. I am from the general category and I didn't apply any quota. admission to IIT is through JEE advance. The admission process is carried by JOSSA online.

I got this branch through branch change. The faculty-student ratio is like 1: 30. Faculties here are highly qualified and from top universities around the world. Every sem we have one midsem and endsem , we also have quizzes and viva depending upon the subjects, To pass the exam one has to at least study the class notes.

Our internship season will start after 2-3 months, so I don't have experience right now, from the seniors batch, many companies were there in the software domain and for that part, one must have good data structure and algorithms skills. none as I haven't applied yet.

from any semester you can apply, but for in campus you must be in 5th sem, Top tier 1 companies like Microsoft and Amazon, and etc, highest domestic package 43 lakhs, almost 90% were placed in electrical branches, like 95% apply, I will apply for a job on the software side.

Tuition- fee is nearly 1 lakh sixteen thousand per sem. there are scholarships available, you can see the institute site for that list. Some general scholarship available in all iits: merit cum means scholarship.

Annual cultural fest: Alma fiesta, Annual tech fest: Wissenaire, Annual entrepreneurial conclave: Esummit, Annual sports fest: Ashwamedha, Lots of books are available in the central library, air-conditioned classrooms with smart facilities, A separate building is there for sports: Student Activity Center(SAC), A lot of clubs are there like panacea, s4s, dgang, abhiyakti, drams aaroh etc.

Separate rooms are provided to each student: bed, a desk, a chair, a cupboard. meals are ok, the menu has sufficient items both veg and non-veg, the registration process is simple you don't have to worry about that part, No, we didn't rent a room here.
