Remarks

I have seen a few institutes because I think there is only a diploma in event management but after seeing the course with a degree I called them and they told me to visit. No, I didn't avail any quota. First, you will meet with a counsellor and after that, they will explain to you about the course and they will give you the tour of the college then you have to sign some paperwork after that you have to choose a payment option like a loan or cash. Then you will have the orientation after that you can start taking classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because it is very creative and entertaining more than other courses. The faculties are good and knowledgeable in their fields and they also know what to teach and how to teach and they have a separate teacher for every subject and with this, they also know how to connect the student with studies. The qualifications of faculties are good because they all have PhD in their fields and they always try to help us as much as they can. Their teaching method is very good they teach us via presentation, pdf, videos, real life examples, etc. We are having time to time exams like in one semester we have a midterm and an end term. We can say it is medium in difficulty because our subject questions are mostly based on practical situations.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Network 18, wizcraft, etc. They will over us the as an intern under event manager and we have to learn the work. You can also be an intern under advertising officer and PR manager. I also don't know about that much because I am in my 2nd year and I will see these things later.

Placement Experience

3.5

From semester 6 students can eligible for placement. 50-60% of students get the placement because mostly student gets the job by their own an also they start their own company. After getting a degree I will start doing a job in the company and after 3-4 years I will start my own company.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have structures like : In the 6 instalment plan, we have to pay 78000/- for each instalment. In the 5 instalment plan, we have to pay 98000/- for each instalment. At one time we have to pay around 4,00,000. No scholarship they are giving. At least I didn't hear about any.

Campus Life

2.5

As my course is Event Management that's why we always have an event there. That's why we will not have an annual function or anything. Yes, we have the library and the availability of books is great there. Classrooms and amenities are good but the college is a little bit congested. There are no extra curricular and sports on campus. There is no social grp and clubs and website which is run by students.

I was particulary attracted to this course because of its well structured curriculum, which combies strong foundational subject with practicle, industry- oriented modules. The inclusion of hand on projects, interships, and skilled based learning played an important role in my decision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in psychology that's why I adapt this course. got to know so many things about psychology and which help me to know people better really help me in my day today life. But the professor need to explain more and do not give illusionary examples. Did they have to try to explain in real world scenario. The courses is difficult and the paper is so lengthy give three hours to write and the people is so many that the time is insufficient they need to give more time if they expect to fill 24 pages of answer sheet.

For campus placements, 6th semester students are eligible. There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24x7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. After the BBA Degree, I am planning for the Masters Degree for better placement. |

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.
