Remarks

St. Francis Institute Of Technology is a Catholic Minority Institute. The cutoff mars for Computer Engineering Department is around 110 out of 200 in MHT CET (as per 2018). The overall admission procedure is smooth and the college guides you at various stages of the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members at St. Francis Institute Of Technology are highly qualified and very helpful. Their teaching methodology includes conducting assignment test after completion of every module. This helps students in easing preparation time.

Internships Opportunities

Students get a lot of internship opportunity during their semester also during SEM breaks. Few companies are Cloud Counceleage, Sparks Foundation, etc. Students get an opportunity to work on various project well guided by faculty members.

Placement Experience

Students from the 7th Semester are eligible for On-Campus placements. A few of the companies that have visited SFIT for placements are Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, TCS, Byjus, etc. The highest package offered as of 2021 is 15 lpa and the average is 3.5 lpa. I plan to work as a Data Analyst after completing my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The hike in fees per year is very negligible. The fee structure for other professional engineering course is approximately the same. There is financial assistance provided for economically backwards students (EBC Scholarship).

Campus Life

IRIS is the annual feast of our college and it organised for one week in the month of January. Mosaic is the tech fest of our college wherein Student bodies and individual students put up technical games. St. Franics Institute Of technology has a well-built library in the B-Wing. Our college is a separate Sports Committee run by students and it organizes an annual sports meet known as Igniter. There are many student bodies namely CSI-SFIT, CODEX-SFIT, IEEE-SFIT run by students of SFIT.

yes my college provide campus placement. we have seprate placement cell for preparation of placemet interview and compony ready. We also have many companies in tieups for hiring.avg placement is also good like 5-6 lpa student easy to get 10+ lpa package when your acedmics are good and skill development

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. The average Package is almost about 3 lakhs per annum.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET .
