I applied only for Gauhati Commerce College and KC Das Commerce College. I didn't take admission in GCC because my friends who went along with me to stay together their names were not on the merit list and our parents were too concerned as we were girls and being girls they won't leave us alone, but altogether. Thus, their names were on the merit list of KC Das Commerce College and I was bound to take admission there. I didn't avail any quota. The minimum percentage required for the general category was 76%. They called the names of the students through speakers, students were sitting in a crowd with parents on the college ground. Once the names were called the students were to take their mark sheets along with them to the admission hall. The teachers would ask few questions like if the students want to take a major as a subject and also if the student wants to be a part of NCC and if the students are interested in any kind of sports.

Bachelor of Commerce has always been attracting me since I was in my school. I wanted to study B.com because I wanted to learn about the subjects in it. Being a girl from a family background of handling business for me knowing about this subject would have been really helpful. The faculty-student ratio of 1:4. Campus life is too crazy and wonderful and cheerful, only if the pandemic is not there. We have fresher's, farewell, college week, Bihu programs, Saraswati puja, and few seminars. The library has every kind of books but sometimes it lacks. Classrooms are quite peaceful. But during summers all you can do is sit quietly and feel good. In sports, our college participates in ever inter college and intra college events. We also have college week for different kind of soft sports. Badminton, cricket, kabaddi, tug of war and so on. The hostel is not provided by our college. We took a pg nearby. Our college does not provide a hostel facility. 24—7 water. I.would review meal 3 out of 5. Affordable hostel. Monthly 6000 and admission fees 2000. It's situated in Kumar para Panchali.
