Remarks

Firstly Acharya Prafulla Chandra college has such a good name for itself. The faculty was also the main reason which made me join this college. The college is situated at a very convenient place which is easily accessible by different modes of transportation. I first read about this college from its official website. Loved everything about it since then. The admission process has been smooth. The people responsible for management guided everyone through the process. Really grateful for that. From extracurricular to hosting fests and other functions, APCC does it all. The best part is the college arena. It's full of greenery and plants.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I am currently pursuing B.A in English. I must say the faculty is top-notch. Our professors are always there to guide us through every problem that comes our way. They are extremely skilled and professional in all ways. Especially during this lockdown period, our professors made sure that all of us catch up with each other and nobody is left behind.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college definitely holds campusing every year for its students to get placed. Some of the highly reputed companies come here to employ the graduates. Students are eligible for this only after the 5th semester. However, there is no such facility for people pursuing a B.A course.

Fees and Financial Aid

APCC is government-sponsored so the fee structure is quite moderate and affordable. I love this particular aspect of our college. I believe financial issues shouldn't be a problem is the path of education. The college also has a scholarship program and a fee concession structure for people who are having a hard time. The best part is the administration actually pays heed to the problems faced by the students.

Campus Life

5

The college hosts different festivals and extra curriculum throughout the year. The college ground is filled with livelihood. The vast college arena is full of greenery and beautiful structures. Talking about the library it's one of the most amazing places in the whole college. It has a separate seating room. The library has an immense amount or books pertaining to different sections and subjects and the librarians are extremely friendly people. The classroom is not air-conditioned but they are airy enough with big windows and doors. The main halls however have air conditioning systems. The college is constantly upgrading its resources which is another amazing thing. There are quite a few clubs that you can join while being in college. They are fun.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
