Remarks

The college environment is very disciplined and well maintained. The admission procedure is very minimal. The main reason for preferring this college to others is ragging free campus and teachers are very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

My father is a draughtsman so I have an interest in civil engineering to fulfill my father's dream and also mine. The qualification of faculty is good and their teaching methods are amazing. Term exams are held after six months and the level of difficulty to pass is moderate.

Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Internships Opportunities

there is a great platform for an internship is Internshala, in this platform so many opportunities to do an internship in different companies as per choice and the companies gave a good amount of stipend like 5000/- to 15000/- per month

Placement Experience

From the 4th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited like ACC, RAMCO, EXIDE, SIMPLEX etc. so many students getting placements from the campusing. My plan is to get the government job after getting the degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee structure is good and if there was 75% or above 75% marks scholarship is available. the scholarship is the Swami Vivekananda scholarship. Many companies came to college campusing and also get the job with stipend.

Campus Life

Tech fest is conducted on April-may month. Many kinds of books are available in the library of the college and well maintained also. In-door sports room is also present in the college and playground for outdoor games.

I want highlight placement details here - the following companies came for placement: - L&T, JSPL, Vesuvius, Kiswok Industries, SRMB TMT, Bharat Engineering Limited, BRGD Ingot Pvt Ltd, Patil, Reshmi Metaliks, Tata Metaliks (Kharagpur). All this companies offer average 15000/month some offers more than 16000/month. For getting job students must maintain 75% attendance and a 7.5 CGPA minimum. I have not taken any job because I am doing B-tech now on Metallurgy.

EIJE is best for Mechanical and Metallurgy students

Placement Experience:

Reshmi metals, Tata metals, JSPL, BRGD, TMPL, Kiswok industries limited, Patton India came for placement and offer an average of 13000/per month but the first two companies offer 15000/month as per student caliber. For getting a job in the placement you have to maintain 75% attendance and a 7.5 CGPA minimum. 26 Students out of 30 are placed remaining four are girls so as per the criteria of the companies they don't secure the position. I have an offer but I am doing B-Tech so I refuse that.

There are no official placement in the Architecture department but the faculty members will guide you to find jobs in your career They will guide you the right way in your career. The average package in Kolkata for a diploma in Architecture is 7-10000/- per month. My advice is to go for B.Arch or B.Tech Civil for a high gross in salary as well as a career in your life.

Approx 65-75% of students get placement from the civil engineering department. Top Recruiting companies like L&T, HCL, Simplex, and many more recruit. approx 15000-20000 package offered in diploma civil engineering. about 80-90% of students get their internship.

JISSP is One of the Best Private polytechnic College in Western India.

The admission process is very easy. First of all, all students have to do the JEXPO exam. Then Direct applied to Jis School Of Polytechnic for Admission. Students who did not give their Jexpo exam should come for Direct Admission. Jis School of Polytechnic is provided with a TFT Quota for admission.
