Remarks
Factors: School of Business Management, NMIMS provides good exposure to various case competitions and events. The Peer group is brilliant. Class size is healthy. A lot of the faculty members are excellent in their subjects. The location is in the heart of Mumbai (and not on the outskirts of the city like some colleges). Admission Process: NMAT, GD, PI (took 1st attempt, scored 210, was satisfied with the score so didn't take the second attempt). Reasons: Constantly amongst top 20, location advantage.
Course Curriculum Overview
Chose Marketing because interested in the field, good great teachers in the first and second trimester. Faculty is good, some of them have been country heads, CEO/COO/CFOs of giants so very knowledgeable. Each class has 60-65 students decided into study groups of 6/7 which do all assignments together. This supports peer learning. Exams are slightly on the tougher side, but it is justified based on the faculty and student ability of the institute.

Profiles vary from Marketing and sales to finance and analysts. Sufficient corporate projects are also offered throughout the year so that students can gain relevant industry experience. Though all the projects are not very good, some are worth the effort.

Placements of the college are very good, despite the covid scenario. Summers start by the end of the first trim. The entire batch gets a decent placement. The average CTC as per last year's placement report was around 18 lakhs.

The fee is 21 lakhs as of now and increased at the rate of around 5% per year. Add the cost of living (if things open up) at around 25k including food and rent per month. Scholarship of 5 lakh to top 5 performers of NMAT each year and outside scholarships bought in by students.
Campus Life
Online First year so could not explore the library. The college has ample events by various student bodies (one fest every month by one or the other student body). The college has a student council, placement committee, sports committee, drama society, dance club, toastmasters and more.
Interview Experience
After you write NMAT, the top 4% get a call for the GD-PI process. GD Topic is plagiarism harming society. 10 min GD, everyone got a chance to speak. PI Lasted for 5 min, mostly based on the Statement of Purpose submitted before the interview.
