Remarks
Being the renowned University of Lucknow, I took admission here because it was popular and was old and also it is a Govt. University. Academics are good, studies here are good, better than expected. But after admission I came to know that the college is Govt. but B.Tech. here is self-financed. This broke my heart. [Rating: 8/10] Also, the campus infrastructure is not that bad, just it doesn't feel like a modern university. Some of its buildings are still under construction because of lockdown in 2020. Playgrounds are yet to be cleaned renewed, the gym is not there too. So overall, infrastructure isn't good like it should be in a renowned Govt. College. Being the last choice of UPSEE candidates, and that's why the environment isn't much productive. So, not a good social life I would say. Being a newly opened college, placement in low, around 3.5 lacs per annum is the avg. package. No ratings for now.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is better than expected, classes are better too. Hardworking teachers, know their importance in the university and hence try their best to deliver the knowledge required. The University is Govt. but the course is self-financed, which is a turn off as students come here for Govt. facilities but end up paying fees of a private institution without getting much in return.
Placement Experience
Being newly opened, placements are low. The engineering course was started in 2016-17 so the placements were done in 2020, and being a covid phase, fewer companies visited, and in a total of around 50 to 70 students got placed in total with an avg, package of around 3 to 3.5 l.p.a.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are high. The University of Lucknow is a govt. institution but then, B.Tech. here is a self-financed course, so the fees is high, Rs. 120160. But the facilities aren't as good. UP Govt. for sure will provide scholarship and also, several schemes like ' Karmayogi ' where you serve college or professors in some or the other way and get paid in return for no. of hours you work. So its kind of good, not a scholarship, but assistance for sure.
Campus Life
Being the last choice of the UPSEE candidates, low scorers and high rankers took admission. So the environment isn't much productive for her. You'll get to know many around you but still, you'll be friends with one or two. Seniors don't interrupt much, no ragging and all, it's just they need respect.
Interview Experience
There wasn't a group discussion, but according to the UPSEE counseling procedures, the final step was the PI - Physical Reporting, where the final paper works are done including payment of a semester's fee through a demand draft f Rs. 60080. The behavior of the department staff during the PI was pretty well, like, I was able to be opened to them with my doubts and all, and they cleared everything calmly.
