Remarks

Personally, I feel that the main reason to take admission to a college is its academics and placement. PSIT, apart from having great placements and academics also has a great infrastructure. The college environment is very disciplined and the teachers are extremely helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose finance as my specialization because I was interested in it. The faculty are really helpful and they have a lot of knowledge apart from the course too. They give their 100% while teaching and they make sure that the concepts are clear to every student. The exams are not difficult, provided you study.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college does provide the students with internship opportunities. Every year the college helps the students regarding the summer internship and make sure that all the students get the proper exposure and experience that they need.

Placement Experience

A lot of companies visit the college for placements. Even during the pandemic situation, almost everyone got placed in companies. The average packages offered is 5 LPA and a lot of companies like Infosys, Naukri.com, Just dial and many more recruit students from our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is rupees 145000 per year and I think it's quite reasonable. The college does offer scholarships to meritorious students and girl students too. A loan facility is also available as the college has tie-ups with certain banks.

Campus Life

There are a lot of fests and events conducted in the college. However, due to the pandemic situation, it has been difficult to do so but still, PSIT managed to do a few events. Sports and extracurricular activities are actively conducted and equal opportunities are provided to each student. There are AC classrooms with proper seating.

Interview Experience

If you take direct admission to college, you will have to go through 2 rounds. Firstly, you need to prepare a short video about yourself and then, there will also be a PI round where the teachers will test your course knowledge and also your general knowledge.

There are big and large companies visiting our colleges like Google, Tata and Amazon. The highest package offered by the company is 40 lakh. The average package is 15 lakhs per annum. Approx 80 per cent of students get placement after completing the course. My plan is to become a finance assistant after completing my degree.

I choose this college on the basis of my JEE mains rank and marks/percentile and also due to counselling i got this college as it is not so far from my home town and also due to hearing more about this college from others about their discipline , strictness and so on but actually i know about this college when i got addmission to this as 90% attendence policy mandatory whereas in the other colleges the attendence criteria is only 75% and also the rule and regulation are very strict as you feel like you are trapped in the college....Read More
