Remarks

Very good location, the management was highly spirited and motivated me to choose this college for my degree course. The infrastructure of the college is up to the mark with ample facilities for an engineering student especially the library was equipped with all sort of books and journals to help us in our degree course and make us better engineers.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose communication as at that time it was the most thriving and on-demand field. Very good faculty members with 1:60 ratio and most of the faculties know each student personally, their strength, and weakness. Faculties were well qualified with a few having Ph.D. in their respective fields and most were still doing their Ph.D. Exams were always conducted in time and the exam pattern was moderately difficult for students to crack, so we had to prepare Thoroughly with full know-how of the concepts. Exams were conducted by Pune University

Placement Experience

A lot of companies both multinational, national, and newly formed companies came for campus selection. We were given ample opportunities to select our field of work and accordingly sit for an interview. Good guidance was provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were nominal about Rs. 40,000 per year at our time. I had not applied for any scholarships or financial assistance. Regarding jobs, almost all multinational and good companies came for campus selection. We got a number of opportunities to select our preferred company and field of work.

Campus Life

Annual fest was conducted in the month of September with equal zeal on cultural, educational, technical, and sports activities. All the students were encouraged to participate and take an active part in the fest. Technical students were guided to innovate new gadgets or software by faculties. Books and journals were available in the library for our help.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

I chose Dy patil college because of strong reputation. Dyp stood out in terms of its academic programs,offering a wide range of undergraduate,postgraduate courses. I received confirmed admissions from DYP and PVG college.However, I chose DYP due to Its stronger faculty expertise and infrastructure.Although I didnt receive a rejection from sinhagad vadgaon.
