Remarks

College management is very responsive. We have a suggestion box near gate of the campus where any student can go and drop suggestion letter anonymously which is directly viewed by Management Director of campus and necessary actions are taken immediately.

Entrance Preview

I choosed this particular college since it has got a very good reputation. Well maintained labs and disciplined environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is similar with other engineering colleges.

Internships Opportunities

Lot of companies come like Mahindra, Hari Plast, TVS, WIPRO, PRIMA, S.M Consultants, WBG services, BIRLA, IBM, etc. General stipend is somewhat roughly ?60, 000/-.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is a must for all the merits. Usually 1 in 15 is left without placements. Most of the time Hari plast and Mahindra are the top recruiters with packages of 4.5 Lakhs+.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is extremely feasible as well as flexible for needy parents. Normally it's around ?70, 000 a year for my mechanicsl branch. Overall costs comes around ?3 lakhs in four year term. Lateral entry fee is not the same with normal but I have no idea about the lateral fee structure - which I hope to be slihjtly less since its only 3 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

To be very Frank, There is no such good scholarship programmes or loan facility I have came across till now.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio is 2:1 (usually). Parties and enjoyment aren't offered here. Its completely dedicated towards studies. Photography, art, singing, science, etc workshops are usually conducted during vacations. Debates on various engineering theories are conducted among students inside class with guidance of teacher often.

Hostel Facilities

5

There are hostels for boys and girls separate. Around 1000 seats are there to help students. The food preference is taken prior to admission and prepared as well.

Alumni/Alumna

It feels really bad when our seniornl prepare their final journey with us. Even if lotnof students stay farther from their home, this institute has everything needed for a student. With a grand farewell, programmes and prizes they are said Bye.

Exam Structure

Labs are very neat and vantulsted. Unlike other colleges all the students are comfortable with labs, adequate chairs, non-damaged chemicals and instruments make our labs a special one. Exams definitely put us into tense but the results are always as per o

Faculty

4

The faculty deserves praise. The methodology they use to penetrate the studies into mind of students is interesting. They teach the required portion and the old fashioned theory are newly brought into light.

Placement Experience:

There are internship opportunities at the starting of 3rd year and job opportunities at the starting or 4th year. This year many companies visited the campus which include DE Shaw, Flipkart, Oracle, TCS, VISA(for summer internship drive), and various start-ups like Sarvam AI and many more. Highest package was 56.8LPA by DE Shaw. Flipkart took a total of 20 candidates (12 were selected for 34.5LPA and 8 for internship opportunities). Average package going around 9LPA. TCS mass recruited candidates for around 4 LPA, and ORACLE has been consistent at taking candidates for 24 to 25 LPA. Percentage of Students placed for CSE branch is 90. Many students opt for M Tech courses via GATE exam after getting their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly chose this course because the college is Autonomous, which allows them to update the syllabus faster than standard university colleges; seeing subjects like Python and Data Science in the early semesters really influenced my decision. The curriculum is decent for getting placed in service-based companies like TCS or Wipro since they focus heavily on the basics and aptitude, though for high-end product roles or research, you have to put in extra effort yourself. I definitely think they need to reduce the theory load and focus more on practical coding because sometimes it feels like we are just writing assignments instead of building things. Also, the junior faculty rely too much on reading from slides, which really needs to change to make classes more engaging. As for exams, it feels like we are always writing them since we have two internals and one end-semester exam per term. They are moderately difficult and the checking is strict, so you can't slack off, but the tight schedule can get quite exhausting.

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
