CMAT (Sep, 2014) 92.12 percentile, XISS is a premier b-school known for its HR/IR/ Industrial Labour Laws/ Industrial Relations/ Labour Welfare. Is has a very strong presence of it alumni at key position in the corporate. The XISS brand creates professionals with a difference and empowers youth with the practical knowledge of social service. This attracts me towards XISS for this 'difference'.
Course Curriculum Overview
PGDM-HR curriculum stands different from other b-schools due to its dedication towards social service field work in the first year along with the business acumen. There is regular interaction with eminent guest speakers from various industries and access to library and magazines. The curriculum entails labour laws, IR, OB, TQM, Managerial Economics, MIS, and electives on Training & Development, HRIS, Performance Mangement, Compensation Management, among others.
Internships Opportunities
Yes i did my summer training at Exide Industries Ltd. My stipend was 15000 rupees per month. It was a project of 2 months i had a very thorough learning experience at the factory and worked on long term wage agreement at the plant level.

Average ctc was 7.4 approx. for the batch PGDM-HR (2014-2016).
