Remarks

It is one of the best engineering colleges in Visakhapatnam. I got the seat by APEMCEAT .For the first time when I went to college for admission purposes, I felt that the faculty was very strict, but I was totally wrong. The friendly and well-experienced faculty .campus placement rate is very high from all branches when compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a great interest in electronics and communication engineering, so I choose the course .our college consists of 2 sections each section comprises of 60 members. For our branch, nearly 30 Staff members are there. Faculty at the college are well educated had done their PhDs and Mtech, whereas coming to exams for each semester there are 2 Mid internal exams and 1 external semester exams .we have to strive to achieve a good score.

Course Fees: INR 97600 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college offers offline and online internships. I had recently completed BSNL internship where unlimited knowledge is gained by students. The internships are unpaid in return we have to pay some fees to visit that company. Also, the college offers Industrial trip. At the last semester, projects are assigned to all the students and the project is reviewed by the college faculty.

Placement Experience

Companies like TCS,Wipro ,zenpact ,Tesla Infoysis,HCL ,Tech Mahindra and many more companies offer placements by conducting exams .The selected students will Be placed in the companies.Also College offers GATE coaching for students which enhances to get good gate score.

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall Course was 1,05,00, but for the students who are pursuing Btech can avail the scholarship from the government where the government will pay the full fee ( For the students who belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh ).we have to the miscellaneous expenses nearly Rs 1000. Non-residing students can't avail of the scholarship. The government will also pay the hostel expenses who are studying far from home.

Campus Life

We have cultural fests like fresher day and farewell day they are conducted in the month of June and april.college library consists of a huge range of books ,journals and digital library. our classes have various amenities of the projector and led board .college celebrates each and every moment .our college has active groups and Memberships like IEEE , digital library ,Nss other etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels consist of 2 fans and very wider .each room allocated to four members with individual beds and alamarahs .Regarding good college belongs to brahmins so Non -veg is not provided and veg meals are superb with unlimited food . The registration process for the hostel is easy, after filling the form and We have to pay the fee at office room.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

Placements are good in our college and the Teachers said that all the information when give career guidance how to attend our interviews in placements time and how to crack a exam percentage of student is based on 7.5 CGPA must be included and my plans after degree to get a job and improve my skills and go further. The reason why I chose this particular college is, it is one of the top colleges in my city. As of me I'm an extreme introvert, so I can't mingle between people easily. So joining in a women's college made me less tensed. I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri vidya parishad college of engineering (autonomous), Raghu college, MVGR college and many more colleges in my city. I've got confirmed in only GVPCEW. Yes, i was rejected from the other colleges that I've applied and the reason was because of my eamcet rank. I wasn't able to get a good rank in my eamcet exam so i got rejected by the other colleges. The admission process is simple, we have to submit the required documents. There is no particular eligibilty for our college. Best for discipline and education

I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering autonomous which is our parent college and Pragati engineering college . I have got admission into Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering for women. I have kept option of other colleges as they are autonomous when compared to our college . But now ours is always autonomous. Admission into the college is through entrance test called EAPCET by counselling and the rank we obtained will decide to go to which college .
