Remarks

This is a good college in Delhi Ncr to pursue your Bachelor's degree in Engineering. It has a good infrastructure and placement record. Faculties are also good. The admission process was through JEE MAINS entrance exams and based on this different branches are allocated to the students. Based on the ranks upto 50k, one can have CSE in sector 62 and upto 100k one can take admission in the ECE branch in sector 62. The bio-Tech branch has criteria based on class-12 merit too. This college is based on your JEE ranks and this is the national level exam for engineering. It is good after NITs and also better than some other lower NIT's.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose my course because of my rank and also because of my interest in the Electronics field. The faculty to student ratio in lecture class is 1:60 and in labs, in tutorial class 1:30, which is good as a teacher and student interaction is good in the class. Teachers are skilled and all have done the higher level of studies such as Ph.D. in their respective fields. There are 3 exams in one semester. T1, T2, and end-term (T3). T1 and T2 have a weightage of 20 marks each and T3 has a weightage of 35 marks. The other 25 marks are of TA( Teacher Assessment) based on your projects, quiz, and attendance in your semester. The difficulty of the exam paper is moderate to high.

Internships Opportunities

4

Some companies like adobe, D.E. shaw, Intuit, etc come for internships. Adobe offers an internship of 1 lakh. A good understanding of the core subjects and good command of programming skills are key points to crack any company for an SDE role.

Placement Experience

4.5

At the end of 6 semesters, students are eligible for campus placements. Generally, from July month campus drive starts for campus placements, and students can sit accordingly in their respective companies. Companies visit for campus placements are- Adobe, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Intuit, Deloitte, Icertis, D.E. Shaw, and many more. The highest package is 40 lakhs, the second-highest 35 lakhs as per the latest record.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no Scholarship provided by the institute. You can take loans from your bank for Financial Assistance. In 3 years there are opportunities for the paid internship by the college. This fee is high as compared to NITs.

Campus Life

5

There is one Annual Fest 'Impressions'. There is a tech-fest annually conducted by other societies. The library is the point of attraction with a lot of journals and books more than sufficient and good infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .
