Entrance Preview

I took the internal entrance examination for the part time MBA. I choose this course as i was not looking for a full time course, and also this is affiliated to Mumbai University.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was complete and covered all major aspects of the subject matter. All subjects have a great focus from a professional career point of view there are presentations and discussions on each topics to get a in depth knowledge of the same.

Exam Structure

Exams were conducted every 6 months. It has university exams, internal exams and also internal assignments. The weight age for internal assignments is 40% . Internal assignments included presentation, role plays, group discussions, viva, research and so on .

Faculty

All the faculties were amongst the best in the industry with a wide experience. They used the latest and updated topics related to subject and more focus on career orientation .

The college provide some extra certificates like Excel or others which not value for money and also taeches foreign language but not single student can speak after the degree. And also not any facilities can speak german language

PG Life at SSBF

Placement Experience:

Form the first semester itself students will be starting to get the internship opportunities as we have to complete 2 months of internship after first year. The third semester students, who come to campus after internship are all eligible for placements. JPMC, CRISIL, BNY, Federal Bank, KPMG, Tresvista, NUVAMA are a few of the companies visiting college. The highest CTC offered was INR 21.42LPA and the average CTC is INR 11 LPA.

My Experience at SSBF

Placement Experience:

The placements here are decent. For internship the record stands still at 100% and for the final pacements its 95% for all the eligible students. If there wouldn't have been any placements here, I would've opted for the employement outside on my own as I have personal contacts and references in the bfsi industry.

The Real College Life

I was admitted through CMAT examination. The minimum cutoff to qualify was 80 but I had scored 97.5%. The admission process consisted of GD followed by PI, with moderate level of difficulty. The fee structure last year was 14,00,000 for two years but for the current year they have increased it to 15,50,000 for the entire 2 years.
