Remarks
Vellore Insitute of Technology has well reputated name in the Industry. VIT has overall 4 Campus across the country, but have centalized placement from Vellore Campus. Students from other campus are shifted to the main Vellore campus once the fulfill all the criteria such as having 60% marks in the entire enducation i.e. in 10th, 12th & Graduation. This was the only reason that compelled me to take admission into it.
Course Curriculum Overview
As i have enrolled in MCA Program whose course duration is 2 Years in these 2 Years we have total of 6 Semesters i.e. 3 Semester / Year. The 3rd Semester of each year is termed as Fasttrack semester which in which we all cover the syllabus is completed in 2 month. At VIT, there is facility termed as CAL Tech where one has full liability to such the subject of their choice at his convience.
Internships Opportunities
No, We are allowed or offtered internship after 3rd semester. after completing are 3rd semester all the students are allowed to sit for placement drive which usually happens from June to August. For the student who din't get placed in any of the company they are given offer to internship.
Placement Experience
Placement at Vellore Insitute of Technology is centralized. i.e. no matter in which campus you are studing if you have completed the criteria i.e. scored more than 60% in 10th, 12th & Graduation then you would be shifted to VIT Vellore for further Placement. College have a very strong alumini Network and for placement they conduct the extra classes from the very first day. As an MCA student after completing our 1st year ie. 3 semester we become eligible for the college campus placement.
College Events
As VIT - Bhopal is strated 3 years back i.e. in 2017 so still everything is under construction. As the campus size is around 200 acres there one can move here and there. At the Boys hostel they had every facility i.e. from GYM, Lift, Shops and many more stuff.
Fee Structure And Facilities
MCA fees for 1st semester is Rs 1,37,000 + Rs 3,000 (Security Deposit which would be refunded) and for 2nd Semester is Rs 1,37,000. Regarding the Hostel Fees it depends upon the no. of people accomodated at single room. As far as Campus Placement is concerned, VIT college comes under Tier - 2 College and various MNCs, Startup visit the college campus for various Placement Drives.
Hostel Facilities
In college boys hostel there are different rooms depending upon that the charge.(https://vitbhopal.ac.in/hostel-fee-structure/) At hostel they have Gym, Shops, Barber Shop, Lift, Canteen, Mess, Laundary and they provide 24X7 Hot & Cold Water.
Admission
For Admission in MCA the generally conduct VITEE as the entrance exam, but this year they selected the students based on the Percentage they scored in High School, Intermediate & Graduation. Perviously in the VITEE they conduct the exam based on performance they allot the campus.
