Entrance Preview

PGECET. I got 280 rank. I opted this college as it was one of the top most college in india. KITS warangal is famous for Mechanical engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was well designed on par with any IITs. The course lasts for Four semesters. First two semesters concentrate on advanced subjects of design engineering. third and fourth semesters allowed for industrial training and major project work.

Internships Opportunities

In third semester the internship are offered for master of technology students in top most multy national companies with good stipend.

Placement Experience

The placement record is also good in the institute. Even for master of technology students good placements are provided in the campus interviews. Core COMPANIES ALSO come to institute for campus drives. The package is also good . The job opportunities are also good in the market for design engineering students of kits warangal.

Every year A technical fest is organised in the department . In the fest different events related to mechanical engineering will take place starting from basic workshops to the advanced robotic events and other events. Every year A culture fest is also organised in the institute

The exam are scheduled very well and the laboratories are well equipped and has very good atmosphere in the institute . The laboratories and lab technicians are also well qualified and they always try to give knowledge to the students.

Faculty

All The faculty are well qualified and they are very professional. They always encourage students to take part in every activity. The faculty always try to motivate students to actively take part in research activities. The facilities to do research are also very good in the institute.

From placement point of view our collage is in top. Almost 80-90% student got placement in top companies. Jacob, wsp atkins amd more top companies came for placement. Highest package was i guess 14lpa . If some not got placement then he do choose phd.

My Dream College

Placement Experience:

There are many placement oppurtunities like internships and FTEs. The drives for internships will start from the second semester of first year. Students were shortlisted for drives based on the CGPA. Companies like Micron, Qualcomm, Synopsys, Druva visit the campus for hiring. The numbers of offers they provied will not be static. The highest package is about 38 LPA and avg is about 19 LPA. 90-95% students are placed in the previous batches. My plan after getting a degree is join in a corporate to showcase my talent and make contributions to the projects.

the main reason for me to choose this college is that it is nearer to my house comparing my college on different parameters which I applied for are distance to travel and it seems the best in my town the reason why I was unable to make it into top most of the colleges is that I haven't studied up to the mark the admission process is simple you must have to qualify ts eamcet and then apply for counseling then cross-check with the previous years rankings relevant to the college and apply to the course.
