Remarks

While choosing Sandip University, the main factor that I looked into was the ambiance of the place. Nashik being away from cities like Mumbai was a splendid one indeed. Amidst mountains and serene area, it was bliss to the eyes. It is calm and away from main city. This is infact one of the disadvantage too. As hostel students have to travel near about one hour to reach City. Although the basic stationary and other necessaties are available at the campus itself. Travelling after a certain time can be risky due to the dark and lone highways which prone to accidents. The admission process starts at April-May itself and the classes start at mid July or beginning of August.I came to know about this University through another college which recommended me Sandip University as dates for admission there was over.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose BA.LL.B because I am passionate about reading and researching. At the same time I have good argumentative skills, so by taking this course I can improve myself as well I can stand up for those who are in need of help. Speaking about faculty it's a mixture of highly experienced professors and the New comers. Usually teachers change frequently which creates problem for the students to adjust. Some teachers were highly appreciable for their efforts, mostly teachers use both theory and practical ways to teach, such as giving us tasks to find out different things etc. Term exams are a mixture of difficult and easy questions however a student can score marks very easily of they are up to date in class.

Internships Opportunities

I have done 3 internship so far and Currently I am working as editor at ASDM Legal. Preciously I have done my internship at Kannur district court, trivandrum district court and kerala Secretariat.

Placement Experience

4

I am law student. Placements are not generally a common thing for us. However for other courses like MBA good placements are done.

College Events

A lot of activities are conducted at our College. The annual fest known as 'Sandip University' is held in the month of February every year in a big scale. Various competitions are conducted in this fest. Apart from that tech fests are being conducted. ICEMELTS conference was held last year. Books and journals are available in sufficient quantities. A lot of clubs are also formed like literature, sports, dance, arts and so on. Overall the ambiance is really good.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed 100 percent scholarship due to my academic performance in the past years. On the other criterias also scholarships are available.

Campus Life

3.5

The infrastructure at our college is not adequate. The WiFi is moderate, library is good, big and spacious though improvements can be made. There are some sports facilities. Ground is big for conducting various tournaments.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is really good. Three students in a room are allocated. Students can choose their roommates as per their wish. It's of same cost as academic which I mentioned earlier. Registration process is simple, you have just contact the rector who is really kind and will give you all the guidance needed for registration. The menu set is as per students wish, weekly it changes but the basic items are always set. However, I do not personally like the food much. If any student wants to rent a pg or hostel outside campus, they can do so, few are available at the vicinity of campus but most of them are located in the cities. If you have a personal vehicle it is easy to commute.

Placements at VES Polyetchnic are decent for a diploma college. students generally become eligible for placements in the final year.Pacages depend on the company and branch, with some offer going above 4 LPA. the placement cell also helps with interviews and internships. after diploma, many students also choose to continue with higher studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Placement Experience:

As I have heard people mostly get placements from this college itself. If not they go for their degrees and take placement there. The salary is mostly around 5 lakhs per annum which is decent enough for most students. According to the principal from the college if a student studies afterwards for degrees this number racks up to 18 lakhs.

Remarks:

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology is a reputed institute, when it comes to the field of Chemical Engineering. The placement at LIT for M.Tech students is also decent. In my batch, 50% of the students were placed on Campus, which is better than many NITs for Chemical Engineers doing M.Tech. The admission fees of 27,000 per year is also less in comparison with other institutes. The Teachers at LIT are also vastly experienced. Also the Institute was in my hometown, which made my decision even more easier.
