Remarks

Well educated teachers and good infrastructure than other colleges. The admission process started after the JKCET exam and I took admission in the 2017 Electrical batch. Teachers are well educated and always ready to help students out in any matter related to college or studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in electrical machines and electrical circuits so I opted for electrical stream. The faculty: students ratio is 1:6. Most of the teachers are post graduated and their teaching method is quite good and satisfying for the students.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 4 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for the campus placements from the 7th semester. Many companies visit the college like Capgemini, Practo, and many other sales and IT companies. The average package is 3 lakh rupees. A lot of students get placed but mainly in C.Sc or IT-based companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college are affordable according to the courses. Labs are well maintained and include all necessary devices required for the practicals. Overall, the college provides a good course according to the fees.

Campus Life

Fests were well organised and quite exciting but from the last year, no fest is held in the college due to the pandemic. Plenty of books are available in the library with good content of technology. Sports facilities are not that good in the college.

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

Basements are pretty good, especially for the electrical and computer science branches the average package of computer science is around 25 lakhs per annum as per the latest placement sale and for other branches it is also pretty well you will be provided an internship from third year onwards and many candidates have also been provided with ppos.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in our college. Almost 80% of students from cse it ever gets placed and is also good in core branches. The highest package of Cse I think is 50 lakh and the average is around 8-9.
