Good College

Good College. But there may have some negative remarks. But as i completed my graduation from this college i couldn't say any negative remarks about this college. It was gold for me amd this is the only college in Lumding after HS to study .

They took proper care on exam and Lumding College has good teacher amd staffs as well.The exam is conducted under the guidelines of Gauhati University and all the questions are set by the same university. The answer sheets also checked by the University.

No placement. After graduation, you have to get your job by your own effort. The college doesn't do any help to any student in the matter of job and further study. They just give you a degree issued from Gauhati University and a college passed out certificate, that's it.

College Week- there all the sports activities happens and those students who are willing to take participate, they come and take participate. But there is only few students in this college week. The college faculty should do something to encourage students and join the college week. . Saraswati Puja- A religious festival done by everyone educational institution in India, Freshers day party for the fresher students and also the other students too enjoy this day.

Average. A middle class family can afford such fees. But a poo people suffers to take admission. Some poor below middle class students tame some help from charity. Even the student union also help those poor students regarding admission.

No such offers are there. The college doesn't offer any loan or scholarship loan. At present i'm not in this college as a student so i can't tell exactly But for sure, still there will no such Scholarship or loan facility provided by Lumding College.

Average, there is no such extra curricular activities in Lumding College except College week. The Principal at present Mr. M. K. Paul is inadequate for this post. If thete is another activie principal take over the chair then he can do better for the college and students as well.

There is no hostel for boys in Lumding College. I saw only a snall ladies hostel in Lumding College near boy's common room. Amd it can consist only 10-15 students. Due to non-availability of boy's hostel the students from NC hills who came Lumding to study took rental rooms in Lumding.

I didn't go to any alumni meet in the Lumding College as i have passed out from this college in 2015. If i go to any alumni meet then i can gove my opinion in this matter. Till now i didn't see any alumni meet program iny college as I'm living in the same small town in Lumding. So if it happens i will definitely know about it.

After completing my HSLC i took admission in Lumding College in HS Commerce Stream by completing the procudures of form fill up and the after few days i joined the scrutiny program in college. After scrutiny my application got approved and i joined the college as a student in HS 1st year.

Average. Some staff and teachers are good and some are useless. The principal is not adequate. He afraid to take any decision. Lumding college should develop it's laboratories and include some more courses and good teaching staffs.
