Remarks
Good aspects: many opportunities are provided to students for personal grooming. The syllabus and teaching style is also very effective. There are many clubs to join by which we can enhance our skills. Bad aspects: GLA is a full-time college. It's difficult to do some side work along with college. The crowd is not very much good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have a great interest in the field of accounts & finance that's why I chose this course. The teaching method is also good but many new teachers are admitted who have a lack of knowledge and experience. 2 exams are conducted in a semester which is not very much difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
In the 5th semester, Wipro, Policybazar, British telecom, Microsoft and offered around 9.08 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of B.Com (Hons) is Rs 84000 a year which is a little bit costly. Every year there is a hike of Rs 2000. Govt scholars can be applied. If fees are paid half-yearly then Rs 3000 are to pay extra which is not a good policy. Campus recruitment is also good.
Campus Life
The annual fest which is Jhoom is conducted in February. The library is awesome. There are a lot of books available from novels to Gita. The library has a wonderful collection of 100s of books. The classroom has ACs and projectors.
