Remarks

Academically one among the best Ayurveda Medical College with good results . Classes taken by highly efficient teachers . Special attention for weak students . Enough patients in the OP and IP , which enable the students to gain good clinical knowledge . A complete ragging - free campus . Gets enough space and time for extra curricular activities as well . Free from college politics also.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

All the teachers are well experienced . Retired professors from Government Ayurveda Medical Colleges are there for taking classes and clearing doubts . The teachers are student friendly . Each batch can accommodate a total no. of 60 students. And tutor system is there ,where the students would be divided in such a way that 1 tutor would be there for 10 students . And this enable the students to communicate freely with the teachers regarding any problems. And through this each student will get individual attention too.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship can be done completely inside the hospital. We will get good exposure to both Ayurveda and allopathic wings ( Both are present in the hospital inc. a multispecialty wing ). We need to spend one month in each department to study the cases in detail . Good exposure with the patients make us good doctors .

Placement Experience

5

After the course, if we wish we can join the hospital as Medical Officer. As this is a medical course , no campus placements are there . yet some exams will be conducted by the famous institutions like KAPL ,and if we qualify that we can join there only after completing the House surgency .

Fees and Financial Aid

The merit fee was ( 2012 ) , 50,000 per annum , where an additional amount of 4000 you need to pay each year as examination fees. The management and NRI fee varies and are subjected to revision every year . Meritorious awards are there for bright students .

Campus Life

5

The college give adequate importance to extra curricular activities also - Annual Day celebration , Film festival, Sports fest , Arts Fest , Gandhi clubs , NSS etc. Have good library with many medical books , well disciplined classroom , Excellent Anatomy and Physiology labs , Yoga Hall etc.

Interview Experience

5

For merit students , there isn't any test further as they have passed the KEAM / NEET entrance examination tests . The merit students need to take admission as per the procedures described by the entrance commissioner and need to pay fee in his name in the first year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is also very important part of medical field. It brings a lot of treatment aspects and life style betterment. There are practical significance of all the knowledge into life. Hospitals here is very much well equipped and doctors are skillful so it's very good platform for learning to treat the disease and at the same time learning for prevention of disease. Some of the portions should be re evaluate. They should not make shloka compulsory and eliminate some old theories which are not going to accept. Should combined with modern medicine and teach a hybrid model or Intregate course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The latest course curriculum is good as they provide 20 MCQ in every 100 mark paper,so it had become much easy for students to pass the exam. The sloka is mandatory in exams which is a drawback that finds too much time consumption to students and the Sanskrit language is also very difficult. Each exams have 3hrs which is sufficient as only 80 marks questions need to be written reaming 20 marks are MCQ
