Remarks

To be frank if you spend around 1.5 lakh every year which would be around 6 lakh then its not worth. If you get the admission through Karnataka -CET though government quota seats then the fee would be 2 lakh for 4 years which is feasible. But if you can spend more than 4 lakh then there are some other better college in Bangalore.

Entrance Preview

Karnataka CET ranking was around 9000. Even they consider the COMED- K Ranking. There is nothing like interview process selection will be through counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

To be frank the course is of not worth the money, if look into Tier 1 college in Bangalore you can get a better course curriculum. I would condier 2 star for the course curriculum and since this curriculum is design by VTU all college has to follow the same. The advantage in the Top 10 college of Bangalore is that you get access to good technical infrastructure.

Internships Opportunities

No internship, even the placements are worst. For my batch out of 400 students only 10 got placed. We had horrible placement head who was clueless what he was trying to do. I hope the placement has improved at this point of time.

Placement Experience

0.5

The placements are worst. For my batch out of 400 students only 10 got placed. We had horrible placement head who was clueless what he was trying to do. During our placement drive the placement team just bought companies which was related to call center and BPO. You need not do Engg to join a BPO I hope the placement has improved at this point of time.

College Events

3.5

The only thing we enjoyed in this college is the Cultural Event "Samskruthi" this event is exclusively for East point students, no outside participants. Platform created to provide an opportunity to the students of various colleges of East Point Group to share their feelings, exchange ideas & thoughts and gather together to have some fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

To be frank if you spend around 1.5 lakh every year which would be around 6 lakh then its not worth. If you get the admission through Karnataka -CET though government quota seats then the fee would be 2 lakh for 4 years which is feasible. But if you can spend more than 4 lakh then there are some other better college in Bangalore.

Fees and Financial Aid

You get any kind of scholarship, but if you from backward class the college will provide help in availing the scholarship through Govt of India program.

Campus Life

2

The only good aspect of this college is the infrastructure and the cultural event Cultural Event "Samskruthi". Placement is Average and the placement head is always clueless. Most of the students are from NE region of India and the local students. Nothing much with respect to workshop or any other extra curricular activity, most of HOD don't support extra curricular activity.

Hostel Facilities

3

The rooms are also very smelly because the drains outside the hostel are never covered. The food in the hostel also is good at the start of the academic year to impress students then it all goes downhill from there.Nothing much appreciable only the infrastructure of the campus would get 4 stars out of 5 rest all are average.

Alumni/Alumna

Nothing much with respect to alumni network, once in a year you get a email stating that there is a alumni meet on January 26th. There is no networking and they don't have a proper department to take care all these activities.

Exam Structure

Pathetic Lab equipment and you must be thank full to the lab assistant. Exam pattern simple 25 marks for the internal assessment and 100 marks external. Maintain the internal score of 15 which is very important or else you will repent for the same all the lab exams are for 50 marks.

Faculty

1.5

The Teachers that are employed here are the worst teachers and they are very strict. You may lose your chances to write your exams just because you did not submit an assignment. Out of 25 faculty you may find only 5 faculty who are well qualified, the rest of them just come and teach the same what you can learn from your own through text books.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum seems to be a little outdated as we were following the VTU syllabus. But since 2024, our college has become an Autonomous College and since then, most of the outdated syllabuses were replaced with newer, required contents. And we have exams regularly, every month. This helps us alot in preparing for our final exams.
