Remarks

The college provides a broader perspective to market. With more than 50% of India still living in rural areas, it is imperative to understand their livelihoods. Many companies now have a a rural or agriculture division which increases the value of an MBA from IRMA. Both corporates and development firms are present for placements which provides better career choices to a person. IRMA accepts both CAT and XAT scores. IRMASAT, Group Activity and Personal Interviews are conducted for the final shortlist at the campus. The college has an admissions committee page on Facebook, which answers queries regarding admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course has all the subjects of a general MBA but along with that, in every term a rural or development oriented subject is included. In the 2nd year, a student has a choice to choose corporate or development subjects. The number of faculties are enough as the batch size is relatively lower with only 216 students. Most of the faculties hold PhD in their respective fields and are very accommodative in terms of providing out of the classroom guidance too. The 6 terms had mid-term and end term exams. A person who has paid attention in class can easily pass with a decent score.

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes, they provide a 100% internship to the batch. Both corporate and development firms come for that too. The projects are quite challenging and most of them require field work. The stipends are decent.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements begin in the term 5 (second last term). The number of offers made were more than number of students. Both corporate and development firms arrive to campus for placements. All the students in my batch got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is decent with an amount of around 12 lacs for the whole course. The mess bills are not included. The cost to study is relatively lower to other colleges. The students with financial issues are provided with scholarship opportunities too. I got a job in Collegedunia with a salary of 10 LPA.

Campus Life

4.5

Unlike other colleges IRMA does not has an annual fest. However, the campus life is vibrant as we celebrate all the festivals with equal zest. The library has a pretty huge collection and we can also access books online. Classrooms are well built with all the digital infrastructure. The sports facilities are also good. The sports complex is in fact as place where students and faculties interact informally. The college has all sorts of clubs and committees.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

We had single accommodation rooms which were very good relative to other colleges. It provides personal space to one. The rooms have balconies too. The meal quality is decent and takes into account the feedback of students. It is quite affordable too.

Interview Experience

4.5

For IRMASAT, government schemes and basic current affairs are a sufficient preparation. There were two group activities. The group was given 2 topics in which it had to come to a consensus. Interview was taken by 2 faculty members. It was a moderate-difficult level interview. I worked on HR questions and also brushed up my graduation concepts.

The University is one of the top private universities in India. Ranked 2nd among Best colleges in Gujarat by Times. After reading this article, I searched its official website online and read it's detailed brochure and couldn't stop myself from the application form and the second reason were my grandparents as they live in Gujarat. It asked me to fill all my personal details regarding 12th marksheet scoring 72% and BBA in which I scored 75%. Further I gave CAT exam with 85 percentile. After submitting all these documents I got call from the university accepting my admission.
