Remarks

I chose this college after a discussion with teachers and professors of mine. Situated in my town so had throw in the town and this college had a very humble history too. No lousy ads and claims find a unique space in a person's mind, the same is with this college. Although the placement has seen a downsizing in recent years, originality remains intact. I find humble and low-key stuff enticing and can relate, so applied here and coincidentally found myself on the merit list in round 1 itself.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

More numbers of recruitment from this specialisation are the reason for choosing Marketing and ofcourse pandemic reeling. Facilities are 8 in the number, all have arrived for studies at the time point of times. Very knowledgeable persons are in charge of core subjects. Although online or in-call lectures do make sessions look mundane. Teachers are down to earth and obliging. Exams are seamless, but I have my concerns about the test-taking approach during the pandemic, they're in written mode and Ans book scans are to be forwarded to faculties in a given time, which make the task more tedious and hasty. A better manner could be adopted, but I am hoping for an improvement in next semester rounds.

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes, internships are averagely good. People get 8K to 24K per month stipends. Pandemic has hurt prospects but opportunities haven't shrunken much. The process is fine and the placement committee is helpful.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students are expected to take part in the placement process from midway to final year. Placements are decent, the majority chunk gets recruitments in Marketing, however, placements for other specialisation remain decent. The average is 3.40 LPA and the maximum fetched figure is 8 LPA for 2019.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees comprise of many things and nominal amounts for different stuff. The whole summation barely crosses 20K INR for a year. Affordability is highly appreciated by the masses, that's why this college is cherished by many students in the entire State. The whole tution fees would total around 37K. Scholarships are GJ State-sponsored and eligible students get a waiver of 20K in seat finalisation token, which is otherwise mandatory. Training internships are provided to the tune of 8K to 22K per month. Placements for 2019 has been 80% with an average of 3.40 LPA.

Campus Life

3

We have a students forum dng all extracurriculars. So far students haven't been in classrooms, instead attend an online lecture, which lasts for 5 hours approx for all the subjects. Students Forum runs a dedicated business magazine for all the happenings and insights.

The University is one of the top private universities in India. Ranked 2nd among Best colleges in Gujarat by Times. After reading this article, I searched its official website online and read it's detailed brochure and couldn't stop myself from the application form and the second reason were my grandparents as they live in Gujarat. It asked me to fill all my personal details regarding 12th marksheet scoring 72% and BBA in which I scored 75%. Further I gave CAT exam with 85 percentile. After submitting all these documents I got call from the university accepting my admission.
