Remarks

MBA Admission in MSU is accepted through the CMAT Exam (in the month of January) which is further processed by the ACPC releasing the MERIT list. Admission is also accepted in the last quota for which form is to be filled manually for SFI as well as GIA. Program fees for SFI is approx Rs. 35,000/- per year and Rs. 10,000/- for GIA. As far as we talk about placements, it is not appreciable for the HR and Operations sector. For marketing and Finance, a fair number of companies are seen visiting but not really to be proud of. Self-struggle is required to get yourself hired at a good position.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The purpose behind choosing this course is getting oneself introduced to the management skills as well as adding up the extra learning to my career as well as job. The ratio of student and faculty is acceptable, not bad. The teachers are highly qualified but their teaching methods and the course curriculum need to be really high and updated.

Internships Opportunities

3

Companies for internships - ICICI, HDFC, Piblitz, Martin Mulligan, Vardhan Consulting, Odyssey, SBI, Godrej consumers Pvt ltd. Stipend offered to the interns falls in between the range of 4000 - 20,000.

Placement Experience

3.5

The second semester brings companies for SIP - Summer Internship Programme (for 2 months). The actual placement process begins in the 3rd semester. Companies like ICICI, HDFC, TCS. A few companies regularly visit the campus and the overall statistics are decent from the ROI point of view. Mostly, 70-80% of the total strength is placed in the campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of MSU MBA is very reasonable and affordable. It states - Rs. 10,000/- per year for GIA and Rs. 35,000/- per year for SFI. The hike is hardly observed in the previous years. Financial Assistance is acceptable in context to the course offered.

Campus Life

4.5

The MBA Department has a library with sufficient space and a good number of books of great authors. One can find a great amount of books of all the subjects and topics. MBA MSU has a Forum named MSF - Management Students Forum that handles various committees and organizes various events and functions (academic and non-academic, both). Also, there are four clubs for all the four departments of MBA - MarkUp for Marketing, Synergy for HR, Optimum for Operations, and Fiscalspark for Finance. The groups conduct quizzes, interviews, debate, GD, and many more activities.
