Remarks

Our college is one of the best MBA colleges in Gujarat. The faculty of our institute is the best in their fields. Here, admission under MBA is done based on CMAT score through ACPC counselling. The admission process starts after counselling in May. It's a good college if we see it from a per return of investment point of view. Placements are also good with a decent package. Overall it's a good choice to do MBA from here.

Course Curriculum Overview

In each semester we have 8 subjects. All the permanent faculties are too good in their subjects as well as too supportive towards students. Visiting faculties are also good. There are two sections one for GIA and one for SFI with the limit of 55-60 students in one section. The level of the examination is quite high but the overall curriculum is good as per post-graduation.

Internships Opportunities

Various companies like ICICI, Piblitz, Vibgyor etc. Offered the internships under sales and marketing, finance, human resource with the stipend of 6000-7000 per month. Stipend in some internships was on a performance basis. Work roles mainly include sales, project management, core finance etc.

Placement Experience

After the second semester, students get an internship and after the third semester, they are eligible to sit for the placements. Every year various companies like TCS, ICICI, HDFC, SBI etc come here for the placements. The average package is 3 lakh while the highest goes up to 8 lakh. Placements in marketing are higher than in other fields while finance comes on the second.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is much favourable here and the return of investment is also good. The fee structure is around 16000-20000 per year. In SFI it is a bit more. Scholarships are also available in some quotas.

Campus Life

We have particular clubs for all the specializations i.e. Marketing, Finance, operations and HR. There are various functions and webinars organised in our department. One of those is Yuvantas. Various extra-curricular activities are also part of all these events. We have a library also where we have a variety of books available there. Overall the atmosphere is quite good.

students become eligible for placements after first semester in MBA as students have to compulsorily do summer internship. highest package last year was around 12lpa and average package being 7lpa. if prepared well for the interview rounds with the company, you can get a good placement but you have to take first mover advantage.

Placement Experience:

good placements, avg is 6.5/7 ctc and in hand avg goes arounf 5 lpa, highest 17 lpa, lowest 4 lpa, median should be around 5 lpa, this is as per my batch(batch 23-25) it is similar in other batches and 80/90% students get placed easily if they are good and the placement cordinator also try to get the rest placed where the batch have achieves 100% almost every year. there are options after college if you dont get placement from college because it is core mba with subjects marketing finance and hr.

A great journey so far at NBS

Placement Experience:

As I have already said placements are good also it's something which depends on one's ability, capabilities and knowledge. Though the average package lies between 6-7 LPA and goes upto 20LPA. As I'm going to start my internship and till now within 10 days more than 150 companies has came to NBS for providing internships.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is hectic and keeps you busy. But the faculty is amazing. Geniuses of the country surround you. 5 sections 90 students each. FABM students study with PGP students for the 1st year. Electives are chosen in the second year. All schedules are pre-decided. The whole curriculum is tough but there is relative grading and thus you can pass if you give your best.

Admission in this Gujarat's top university is through two exams one is GUJCET and other is via JEE MAINS as per engineering is concerned. Also it's one of the best university you can get into. to take entry in this course one must have average score in main 3 subjects of science, maths and english. if he or she is from diploma than he or she must have cgpa more than 8. for entering this university one should pass the entrance exam called NATA .
