Remarks

M.S.University is the best college in Baroda as it has a national as well as international reputation and alumni network and Faculty of management studies falls under that only. FMS provides a good course curriculum, placements and you'll get to learn from best-experienced teachers of respective fields. You can apply in FMS-B through your CMAT scores .for the general category the cut-off remains around 85%ile and for others, it remains around 70-75%ile.

Course Curriculum Overview

During a pandemic, we have only online classes but faculties at FMS put their 100% effort to give us the best experience of the class. The course curriculum is updated nicely and all faculties have the best degrees and best knowledge of their field

Internships Opportunities

companies like ICICI, Piblits, Godrej, and SBI came for summer internship projects and offered a decent stipend. The roles offered were varying from sales & marketing to finance. The majority of the internships are paid internship and some students opt out in case they can manage internship on their own

Placement Experience

Due to pandemic placement low, this year but one company provided the highest package of 6,50,000 p.a this year and the average package is around 3,00,000 p.a. In past years the Highest placement was around 9,00,000 and the average was around 4,00,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

For government quota fee is around 10000 and for self-finance quota fee is 40000 and on the other hand, you get the placement of average of 3 lakhs which is decent and said to be a good return on ROI. You can get a loan for the same from any financial institution.

Campus Life

Due to the pandemic, we've not experienced campus life yet but being barodian I can say the faculty is situated in the buzzing area of Vadodara. Students coming to FMS-B will be some best minds of Gujarat due to merit so you don't need to be worried about that. FMS has Management Students' Forum which organizes different events and it also has clubs for every specialization.

students become eligible for placements after first semester in MBA as students have to compulsorily do summer internship. highest package last year was around 12lpa and average package being 7lpa. if prepared well for the interview rounds with the company, you can get a good placement but you have to take first mover advantage.

Placement Experience:

good placements, avg is 6.5/7 ctc and in hand avg goes arounf 5 lpa, highest 17 lpa, lowest 4 lpa, median should be around 5 lpa, this is as per my batch(batch 23-25) it is similar in other batches and 80/90% students get placed easily if they are good and the placement cordinator also try to get the rest placed where the batch have achieves 100% almost every year. there are options after college if you dont get placement from college because it is core mba with subjects marketing finance and hr.

A great journey so far at NBS

Placement Experience:

As I have already said placements are good also it's something which depends on one's ability, capabilities and knowledge. Though the average package lies between 6-7 LPA and goes upto 20LPA. As I'm going to start my internship and till now within 10 days more than 150 companies has came to NBS for providing internships.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is hectic and keeps you busy. But the faculty is amazing. Geniuses of the country surround you. 5 sections 90 students each. FABM students study with PGP students for the 1st year. Electives are chosen in the second year. All schedules are pre-decided. The whole curriculum is tough but there is relative grading and thus you can pass if you give your best.

Admission in this Gujarat's top university is through two exams one is GUJCET and other is via JEE MAINS as per engineering is concerned. Also it's one of the best university you can get into. to take entry in this course one must have average score in main 3 subjects of science, maths and english. if he or she is from diploma than he or she must have cgpa more than 8. for entering this university one should pass the entrance exam called NATA .
