My college experience

FMS-Baroda is accredited Grade "A" by NAAC for having a structured curriculum and sound academic. The admission was conducted entirely by ACPC on the basis of CMAT scores for the two rounds and the last round was manual at college for the cancellation seats. FMS-Baroda is a government-aided faculty and hence it has nominal fees, total course fees at the Faculty of Management Studies of Baroda is 5-10% of any other colleges with such courses and reputation. I've completed my BE from MSU itself so I was aware of the college and did not need any other website than the official MSU website.

With 2 years of corporate experience, MBA from MSU would fill the exact gaps that I have in relating managemental concepts with at job tasks. In GIA Batch for 50 students, there are 8 to 10 teachers (some industry experts are called for certain portions). Most of the Faculties have more than 10 years of teaching experience with PhD degree while others are industry experts with no less than 5-10 years of experience. Due to pandemic government rules have postponed exams.

ICICI Bank, Summer Intern 8,000-12,000. Startups- HR. Due to Covid, there have been lesser internship options this year. I'm not aware of previous years exact figures. But there are many other off-campus options available.

From thirst sem students starts getting campus placements. ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential, HDFC Ltd., Beacon Insurance, TCS, HFFC and many others. The highest packages of the previous year were 10 lacs and the average was 4.5 lacs to 5.5 lacs.

Fees are negligible from 8,000 to 10,000. Scholarships are available for a certain segment of student. Campus Summer Internship opportunities are available that pays a handsome stipend. After completion of course there are many reputed companies that come for campus placements with decent packages.

Due to the pandemic, we have not yet attended any physical lecture but I've issued a library card and have found all books I've looked for until now. There are four different clubs for each concentration that is taught: Finance, Marketing, Operations and HR and all of them are very active. Apart from that, there are many cells lead by faculties that work for students benifts. Management Students' Forum is a platform run by students which organise events, workshops and guest lectures throughout the year. Also organises annual fest 'Yuvanta' and a fest for Alumni 'Reminisce'.
