Remarks

The college is really good. The teaching staff is very nice. College premises are neat and clean. There is no bad thing about this college. The admission process was very nice and easy to understand. The admission process was done in February month 2021. The distance of the college from my home was less. So travelling was easy for me. The college was having their Sinhgad app for registration and admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in coding that's why I preferred computer science. The faculty is very nice. And the style of teaching is very nice and easy. Everyone has done their B.E and B.Tech. The duration of exams was suitable for all students. The paper was very easy and the faculty had provided the Mcq before the exam.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

After the 2nd year, we are eligible for the placements and we need a good CGPA score for that. Many companies visit such as Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini etc Highest package was 10 lakh per annum and the package was given by Accenture. About 70% of students get placements with good packages. My plans are to go abroad for higher studies like MS.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are affordable and compatible the tuition fees and exam fees are also affordable the payment method was also easy to understand. I got the obc scholarship and I got a 50% concession in fees.

Campus Life

The is an annual fest called Sinhgad karandak all the student can participate in the karandak it is conducted after the first semester. There is a big library in the college and it has many informative books and study-related books. There are many sports activities in the college The is a welfare club called the Student welfare club of Sinhgad students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. 1) As I wasn't scored good enough in JEE so I couldn't get admission top engineering collges that time. Sinhgad Institute was good option for me because it's renowned institute in Pune and also has good placement record compared to other collges like JSPM, AISSMS etc. 2) Yes I got rejected from many institutes such as VIT, PICT, PCCOE due to low scores in entrance. 3) Admission procedure for college is according to guidelines given by State common entrance test cell.
