Remarks

Like every other college, GRIET has its own advantages and disadvantages. Based on the recent data GRIET has received the highest level of accreditation of A++ from NAAC. The locality of the campus is very good as it is located in a hilly area.

Course Curriculum Overview

I've chosen Computer Science and Engineering because of my interest. The class size ranges from 70-75 with a mentor assigned for every 25 students. Like every other college in Telangana, GRIET conducts 2 mid exams and one end sem exam for each semester.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college allows for both on campus and off campus internships. Many companies offer internship before full time offers. The students are allowed to do internship off campus in any semester but the on campus internships starts in the 7 or 8 semesters.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 6 semester placement session starts. The percentage of students getting placed will be somewhere between 80-90(In the department of Computer Science). The average package of the offers ranges between 3-5LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study will around 5-6 lakhs (considering admission based on EAMCET and not eligible for a scholarship from the government). Placements are OK as most of the students will get placed. (may not be in the dream companies but will get placed)

Campus Life

Similar to other colleges, tech fests are conducted each year and cultural fest, once in 2 years. The library and sports facilities are good but one needs to either spend extra time or leave the classes to avail these facilities as there is no dedicated time in the time table for sports and the library.

A Helpful internship Experience with gaining real world skills

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

College Diaries

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

I would 3 out of 5 because only the basic they thought in every college while getting the job they ask advance concept but I can that the course curriculum has improved now and they are preparing students for further jobs. Placement Experience:

7th and 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Tcs, deloitee, tech mahindra and more has visited. The highest package was around 15LPA and average is 6LPA....around 75-80% get the campus placements.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

GRIET Hyderabad will make you highly skilled!!
