Remarks
I took admission to Amity University in the year 2020. The reason I chose this university because it is considered the top private university in India. Irrespective of the fact that it is one of the top private institutions it still has pros and cons attached to it. Attendance is a major factor in bad reviews. It is mandatory for all to maintain 75% individually in all the subjects. So, it is a bad thing. The campus is really big so we can count that as a plus point. But the faculty is a bit adamant regarding the rules and regulations. College starts at 9 am and goes up to 5 pm. So, managing time gets a bit hectic. The Admission process is simple. You just need an average percentage to get into this university. The selection process takes time. You have to keep messaging the staff with the queries. Overall It is okay if you take admission to Amity University. The reason I chose this college was that MASTER Of INTERNATIONAL RELATION wasn't available in many colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Masters of International Relations has a lot of scope in the coming years. And also I was really interested in this course. We have 1 teacher with over 35 students. The faculty is highly qualified with a lot of expertise and knowledge. The teaching methods are amazing here at AMITY UNIVERSITY. Although the faculty burdens the students with a lot of assignments and task it is somewhat helpful to us. The exams are not that tough. It is easy to pass.
Placement Experience
I actually plan to go abroad and study. I am not sure about the placement cells and the internships. The average package ranges from 1.5 lakh to 5 lakh, which isn't that great because the fee structure of the college is a bit expensive in contrast to the placement the college offers. I have heard that companies like MICROSOFT, INDIGO, WIPRO are partners of this University.
Fees and Financial Aid
I think it is a bit expensive in terms of other colleges and Universities. Other colleges offer you the same degrees and in fact better placements. I was selected on a merit regular basis. So I haven't received any scholarship as of now. Talking about the placements I don't have much idea. I have heard that the placements are okay. Not the best I would say.
Campus Life
I have heard a lot of good stories about the Annual fests and campus. The library, the campus, the cafeterias are amazingly full of all the necessities. Sadly I haven't visited the campus due to the covid outbreak.
Interview Experience
No, I took admission during the time of Covid. So, no group discussions took place. Although we were asked to submit three videos that had three general questions related to your course. And then I got selected.
