NITIE is considered the Mecca Of Supply Chain and Operations. Also, it provides ample opportunities in the field of the supply chain which I was interested in. The admission process included shortlisting on the basis of CAT score and profile followed by an interview.
Course Curriculum Overview
Most of the faculties are well educated and possess Ph.D. from reputed national and international universities. The curriculum is very dynamic and industry-driven with a good mix of traditional and new subjects like analytics, machine learning, etc.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, NITIE provides internship opportunities too. Companies from various sectors like E-Commerce, FMCG, Consulting, Mnaufacturing, Banking, IT & ITES visit campus during the month of September-October.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are very good. A good number of companies with various roles visit campus for Summer Placement Process, LRP, and CRP. The whole batch gets placed in a span of few days. The average package currently hovers around 21+ Lacs
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 14,63,000 for the duration of two years. There are ample opportunities for people availing quotas to avail scholarships upto 100%. Moreover, there are few scholarships offered by alumni of the college
Campus Life
Life at campus did not start in full swing this year due to COVID-19. But a short visit to campus was enough to give me a glimpse of how it would have been very things were normal. NITIE's God's Own Campus is a lush green campus situated in Powai, Mumbai.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are pretty decent. Boys hostel rooms are very spacious. Table Tennis, Gym, Pool, etc are some of the amenities provided in the hostel. The Mess menu is also decent. Food is hygienic and quality is good
Interview Experience
Yes, there was an Interview. Which included questions on my work experience, HR questions, extempore on a topic given on spot. The process was very smooth. Good knowledge about current affairs is also necessary.
