Remarks
The final merit list and selection is made on basis of the performance of the candidate in CAT, work experience, GD, PI and past academic record. The pros of college are its ROI. It has got one of the best ROI if compared with other top management colleges, its location-Mumbai and its very strong alumni base. The campus is very serene and green. The cons include its very poor gender diversity, less brand visibility and lack of diverse backgrounds in terms of subject domains as most students here are engineers. I read the college review on collegedunia itself and I am glad of the fact that now I am actually writing the review as an alumnus of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are held on a trimester basis. The student-faculty ratio is 17:1. The course curriculum includes the following: Institute core-12 subjects, Institute elective- 6 subjects, program core- 8 subjects, program elective -8 subjects, summer internship of 8-10 weeks and a field project. Campus Life
The campus is large and beautiful. It has got many recreational facilities, health care facilities, a library and an auditorium. There is an annual fest called AROHAN which is very enthralling and exciting. The business fest held at NITIE is Avartan. MANDI is a selling and branding event. Students have access to live database, journals, case studies and other informative seminars and webinars.
Interview Experience
The group discussion topic of mine was Impact of technology of jobs: Will machines replace humans? The GD round was well structured. I prepared for GD by going through all recent tidings at the national and international level and also preparing specific GD topics from google. The PI round included three panelists. As I had one of my cousins already studying there, I recognized the two of them as they were faculty-one from supply chain management and the other from economics. My PI questions included a few technical questions that I read in my graduation, about my future goals and few data interpretation questions. A tip to all candidates is to prepare really well for the PI and GD round. Stay well read and brush your basics.
