Remarks
I find this college more of a better place to gain practical knowledge yet to have a good atmosphere for all-round development. The placement rates attract me to have stability and sureties in employability which are just what I was expecting from the institute. Faculty members are amazing and are available for helping you at any time required.
Course Curriculum Overview
For Electronics and Communication engineering the college follows the RGPV University Bhopal and hence you will be taught by scheme and syllabus as per the university guidelines. The faculty members are available at a good student ratio of about 1:10. The senior faculties are PhD holders while others are pursuing theirs. As the university guidance, the college conducts mid sem test two times in a semester while there may or may not be a regular class test for revision. The level of exam is easy as compared to any national level competition exam like GATE.
Placement Experience
The placement rates vary from year to year but on average the placement hits 70% including all hardware and software placements. Although, to get a job in a hardware domain the student needs to push his limits really hard and be super active in technical as well as soft skills capabilities.
Fees and Financial Aid
For Electronics and Communication engineering, one has to pay a sum of 95000 per year. There's a scholarship available for students who are regular at attending their classes. Those who have an attendance record of 100-95% are awarded a scholarship amount of 20000 to 25000. Also, there are government provided scholarships for which the college helps you to apply and notify you whenever required.
Campus Life
The college witnessed a cultural fest every year named Ardour which is a week long event that includes dance, music, poetry, sports and concerts. Moreover, there are regular sessions on technology and speakers from different domain provides the student with the insights of their respective fields. The college has many clubs and societies to pursue a hobby and improve skillset. There are cubs like Yavnika hobby club which includes literacy club, and photography club, Entrepreneurship development cell for entrepreneurship, Developers student club, IEEE Student Branch and career development cell. For knowledge enthusiast there is a library full of journals, novels, academic books and self help books.
