Remarks

I chose the college through Neet counselling. I was allotted to the college in the second round. Also, I heard a lot about the college as it was among the top 50 medical colleges in the country. Also, the college campus is too big which I saw in the photo and the bed capacity of the attached hospital is 2300 which is damn good. All this motivated me to select the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The faculty is very supportive. Even with their busy schedule, the professors are always ready to help with any topic. The faculty-student ratio is good. It's like around 1:10 or 1:15. The faculties are of different levels like assistant and associate professors. The College conducts two-semester exams in a year and a professional exam at the end of the academic year. The point to be noted is that the exams are tough.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The college provides compulsory internship to the students of the college and provides a stipend of Rs 25000 per month to the interns. One can also do an internship from outside the college but the student does not get the stipend money. The College provides opportunities to practice in different departments during the internship period.

Placement Experience

4

There is no such thing called placement in the MBBS course. All the students who pass the MBBS course get a government or private job in the hospital and the average salary is around Rs 70,000 to Rs 10,000 and depending on experience the salary increases. Also, salary varies from state to state.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college takes 12 lakhs as the tuition fee and 1 lakh 10 thousand as the hostel charge and Rs 35,000 as mess charge amounting to a total of Rs 13,45,000. The College also provides scholarship to the top 3 rankers of the academic session.

Campus Life

4

The college conducts fest and sports meet very frequently. The College organises two fests one at the level of University and the other at the college level in the month of May and December respectively. The library is huge in the college and contains all the essential books and articles required in the MBBS curriculum. All the classes are smart classes and have two large LCD screens and a smartboard. The college also organises a sports competition every 2 to 3 months. The social group is called Kritarth.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel rooms are quite large and have an attached bathroom. The hostel contains an AC and reading tables. The rooms are also equipped with wardrobes. The meal quality is good and serves both north and south Indian foods. The registration process for the hostel is simple and is done at the time of admission.

The best thing about this college is its educational environment and curriculum. But the fee is very high and the hostel facility is not good. Also, cleanliness is not up to that mark. As the college conducts many events there will be the development of the students.
