Remarks
The highs-Placement is the most major reasons, I find NITIE to be so great. The return on investment is very rich, which can be explained. The fees amount to around 15 lakhs and the average package stands lump sum of 21lakhs. Even the stipend paid is happening. It has got a very strong alumni network which is maintained through an Alumni Charter. The faculty here is very well learned and exceptional. The lows- Lack of enough brand visibility of the college is one. My parents when I got admitted here were not happy enough as they would have been if I made it to some IIM despite its great placement record. Gender diversity is another poor aspect of the college as female candidates are very few.

There are many student committees. BT Acumen is a national bschool challenge that is promoted by business today in association with Standard Chartered. Just talking is a consultancy club, Center for Innovation and entrepreneurship is the entrepreneurship club of NITIE and the STREET is for finance enthusiasts. Students have access to online journals. AROHAN is conducted in the month of October.
Interview Experience
My group discussion round was one of the best experiences of the selection process. It was held in the most structured manner one could imagine. In my personal interview, I was asked about my hobbies, past academics and as I mentioned I love to doodle, they even gave me a sheet of paper and asked me to doodle something then and there. The only policy to sail through an interview if I were to give advice is honesty and sheer knowledge of your subjects.
